Oceania Cruises Regatta
Atlantis’ most spectacular gay cruise experience begins with the world’s largest celebration – Rio Carnival! After spending three days docked in Rio de Janeiro for the most flamboyant event in the world, you’ll sail through the best of South America on our all-new Rio to Buenos Aires All-Gay South America Cruise. The most original gay cruise of 2017 is limited to 684 very special guests so don’t delay!
Start with Carnival. Sail South America.
It all starts in Rio during Carnival where our ship becomes your home base for the world’s most outrageous celebration. We dock in the heart of the city, creating the perfect base to explore and enjoy all that Carnival and Rio has to offer from the only floating hotel in the city. Ours.
Atlantis will organize and offer tickets to the Samba School parades on Sunday and Monday nights, along with the other gay and thrilling events during our stay. These tickets sell out very early and are limited. Guests will be notified this fall about ticket ordering procedures.
After three days in Rio, we’ll head south into the heart of Brazil, starting with the UNESCO heritage town of Parati where pristine beachfronts and colorful buildings create one of the world’s most spectacular bays. Explore fascinating Sao Paulo from the charming port city of Santos. And dig deep into Brazilan culture as you explore fascinating Porto Belo, with excursions to awe-inspiring Florianopolis.
After a relaxing day at sea, play on the windswept beaches of Punta del Este in Uruguay, one of South America’s hottest beach scenes and friendliest seaside cities. And finally take a stroll through the inviting streets and magnificent shops of Montevideo before arriving in sensational Buenos Aires.
True Luxury At Sea and Beyond
There’s no better ship for exploring than Oceana Regatta, consistently ranked one of the top luxury ships in the world by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler. You’ll love her intimate spaces and modern design, with big-ship features in a small-ship package. From the spacious teak decks to fully equipped Canyon Ranch Spa, there’s an abundance of ways to relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Oceania’s welcoming, professional staff anticipates your every desire. From the champagne welcome to poolside massage, or an afternoon sorbet parade, you’ll discover the details that make Oceania unique. With one staff member for every two guests, your every need will be tended to.
The Finest Dining at Sea
It may seem like an audacious statement to hail Oceania’s cuisine as "the finest at sea," but not when the legendary master chef Jacques Pépin serves as Executive Culinary Director. With his genius for inspiration and his culinary wizardry for guidance, their immensely talented chefs masterfully create cuisine that earns rave reviews from our guests, course after delectable course.
The intimate size of Regatta enables chefs to carefully and thoughtfully prepare cuisine to match the region and season. Artful menus reflect both local and international specialties, enhancing the dining experience throughout our five distinctive restaurants. And of course, all restaurants feature open seating with no dress code so you’ll always find a delicious way to spend time with friends old and new.
The Stars Up Close
When you do finally return to Regatta after a day of exploring, Atlantis presents our biggest stars in dazzling shows -- up close and personal. It’s the perfect setting for our signature singers, comics, and variety performers.
We’ll redefine revelry with our unique deck T-dances and a few evening dance parties starring top DJs. A variety of live musical acts perform in our lounges, and of course there’s an exciting casino inviting you to test your luck.
An Experience for a Lucky Few
Our most exotic cruise of 2017 is available to only 684 very fortunate Atlantis guests with a sense of adventure and desire to experience the best that South America has to offer. After the 2016 Olympics, there’s never been a better time to visit Rio! Join us today as Atlantis returns to South America in grand style with the biggest Carnival celebration yet!

Regatta blends classic sophistication with a contemporary flair to create a casually elegant ambiance that’s unmatched anywhere else. The outdoor decks are resplendent in the finest teak, custom stone and tile work, and the interiors boast luxurious, neo-classical furnishings. You’ll find five unique restaurants, a world-class spa, eight lounges and bars, and a casino. Nearly 70% of Regatta’s luxurious 342 suites and staterooms feature private verandas. It’s one of the most beautiful ships Atlantis has ever chartered, and the perfect home for exploring South America in style.
Designed for epicureans and travel connoisseurs, Regatta features some of the finest dining at sea. The Canyon Ranch SpaClub offers virtually every pampering treatment imaginable. Inviting lounges abound – perfect for meeting friends or enjoying Atlantis entertainment.
And there’s no better place to take in the beauty of South America than from the expansive and well-appointed teak decks that grace the top of the ship.
The Finest Cuisine at Sea. Or Anywhere.
Under the guidance of master chef Jacques Pepin, Regatta boasts some of the most sophisticated and varied dining options at sea. All five restaurants are included and there are no additional charges. As with all Atlantis cruises you can dine whenever you wish, with whomever you choose with no formal dress code.
Let Us Entertain You
The intimate theater features Atlantis signature entertainment, along with Oceania’s dazzling production shows in a space that invites you to sit back and enjoy. Take in our very own Piano Bar at Martinis. Discover new cabaret stars on the top of the ship in Horizons lounge. Or try your luck at the Casino. No matter where you end up you’ll find comfortable places to meet friends old and new in a setting that makes you feel right at home.
A Spa For Your Lifestyle
Healthy living and spiritual awareness are at the very heart of the Canyon Ranch philosophy, embodied at the magnificent SpaClub. Through fitness, exquisite Canyon Ranch cuisine and a multitude of healing therapies, you can discover ways to unleash your untapped potential and make positive changes in your life. The star element of any Canyon Ranch experience are their unique treatments that will leave you wondering how anything could feel quite so perfect.
Of course, more opportunities await in the state-of-the-art fitness center, featuring the latest fitness equipment along with classes in indoor cycling, aerobics, or yoga.
Contemporary Luxury Surrounds You
The spacious dimensions of Regatta’s suites and staterooms offer the ultimate in luxury. Interiors are decorated with traditional hardwoods, rich fabrics, fine furnishings and original artworks. A fashionable color palette blends sea, sky and comforting earth tones to create a soothing environment. Plump the goose-down pillows of the Prestige Tranquility Bed, an Oceania Cruises exclusive. And enjoy beautiful vistas of the sea on your private teak veranda.
All suites are extraordinarily spacious, affording you your own private retreat. Penthouse Suites feature oversized living and dining areas, marble and granite–clad bathrooms with a bathtub.
Our palatial Owner’s Suites and Vista Suites offer everything you would expect in a world-class hotel, elevating sea-going opulence to new levels. Resplendent with custom Empire-style furnishings from Italy on board, each has its own bedroom, dining area and so much more.
And no matter which room you choose, you’ll find little touches that set Regatta apart. The mini-bar is refreshed daily with free and unlimited soft drinks and bottled water. Bulgari amenities grace the spacious bathroom. Enhanced 24-hour room service is just a phone call away. And their friendly staff is always available to take care of your every need with twice-daily service.

Parati, Brazil
Savor this gem of a historic town with its beautifully preserved Portuguese colonial architecture, charming narrow streets, imposing fort and exquisite churches. Enjoy a leisurely schooner cruise through this group of lush islands past quaint fishing villages and pristine beaches. Stop at a beach to swim, snorkel or just relax.
Santos, Brazil Santos, a coastal city in southern Brazil's São Paulo state, is a major seaport stretching from the mainland to São Vicente Island. The island's urban center borders the Bay of Santos, known for its wide beach and adjacent long garden. The Museu do Café, occupying a 1922 commodities exchange preserved in the historic district, explores the area's key role in Brazil's coffee trade.
Porto Belo, Brazil Perched on a lovely peninsula in southern Brazil, Porto Belo is revered for its beaches, most especially Bombas and Bombinhas, which share a beautiful emerald-green bay. In fact, the area is called the "Emerald Coast." Montevideo, Uruguay Montevideo, Uruguay’s capital and largest city, sits on Montevideo Bay. Its heart is the Plaza Independencia, once home to a Spanish citadel. The plaza separates the city's downtown from its Ciudad Vieja (old town), with art deco buildings, colonial homes and landmarks including the towering Palacio Salvo and the neoclassical Solís Theatre.
Buenos Aires, Argentina Discover this elegant city and its beautiful surroundings with a tranquil cruise through the Tigre Delta past islands, mansions and English gardens. Visit the pampas and watch gauchos display their extraordinary horsemanship, or enjoy a fabulous tango show in its birthplace.

Classic dishes from various regions of Northern Italy are featured, many from recipes that originated with the mothers and grandmothers of our own Italian culinary staff.
