Soleado has now sat quite perfectly in a spot previously occupied by an out of place 'beer drinkers' bar (possibly the German equivalent of a 'Murphys Bar' or 'Queen Vic' or maybe even a 'Hooters' with fat blokes serving the drink). Soleado quietly and successfully took its place. Using the previously disused mooring directly in front of the bar as the restaurants main terrace, this is just about the best setting in Figueretes for an evening meal.
Not only is the setting great on a warm evening, being as close as you can get to the sea without your trousers rolled up, but the food is excellent.
Try Soleado early in your holiday, you are sure to be back when the sunburn hits and you are in need of the sea breeze....
The food is excellent and the servie un-rushed.
