Dresden gay tourDo you love a parade? We’ll be sallying forth to strut our stuff through three of the most picturesque and gay-friendly cities of Europe: Prague, Dresden, and Berlin. This gay group adventure comes to a rousing conclusion with Gay Pride festivities in Berlin – the most decadent of the three cities!

Quote or Reservation

Prague is one of those magical places you never forget – with castle-like architecture and a festival atmosphere at any time of year. Dresden was once known as “Florence on the Elbe,” and it has been lovingly restored to its finery after the devastation of WWII. Finally, experience one of the most important capital cities of Europe, as Berlin is increasingly being regarded in the new political realities of the day. We encounter its history and culture, concluding with a riotous expression of color, community and pride: Christopher Street Day!

Making Travel Arrangements to Czech Republic & Germany
On this tour, international airfare is NOT included. You will need to get your international flights from your home to Prague, Czech Republic and from Berlin, Germany, back to home. You will need to arrive in Prague by 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Departure from Berlin can be scheduled for any convenient time on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

What to Bring
In July, the weather is moderate in Prague, Dresden and Berlin and surrounding areas, with average temperatures ranging between 54 and 72 degrees F. However, there have been historic heat-waves in recent years, so be sure to hydrate! You won’t need a suit jacket or tie, as the tour is informal and dinner attire will be casual. Try to pack light and bring as little luggage as possible. Mix and match outfits! Pack any medications you require in a carry-on bag and leave expensive jewelry at home!

Money Matters
The Czech currency is the Koruna (CZK), and the German currency is the Euro (EUR). We recommend that you obtain local currency after you arrive in the country, as doing so in advance carries high fees. After you clear customs and exit the secure area with your baggage, there will be ATM machines available at the airport in Prague. Use your ATM Debit Card as much as possible for withdrawing local currency at a bank machine, as you will always get the best exchange rate. Be sure to notify credit card companies of your travel plans before departure so you do not run the risk of having your cards shut off due to their automatic fraud protections. Major credit cards are accepted at most restaurants, hotels, shops and tourist attractions. Click here to obtain the most current exchange rate for these currencies.
