Canada & New England Fall Foliage Gay & Bears Cruise 2025
7 nights from/to New York, USA
September 28 – October 05, 2025
NCL Norwegian Getaway
Join us on bears & gay group cruise as we sail on the Norwegian Getaway for seven nights, with six ports full of Bear fun. We sail from New York City to the most beautiful places in New England and Canada. Experience the natural beauty of this region as Mother Nature goes all out with her most spectacular fall color drag! If there is one season when Mother Nature loves to flaunt, it's fall. And there's no better view of this amazing spectacle than on our Canada & New England cruise. Add Norwegian Getaway award-winning restaurants, casinos, and entertainment and you'll have the holiday of a lifetime.
Along the coastline of Canada & New England is where the deep-blue sea meets rich autumn hues. Witness the changing autumn foliage, one of nature's amazing spectacles. It’s also where you’ll travel back to the Gilded Age and explore Bar Harbor, an opulent summer retreat built for the 19th-century elite. And be sure to save an afternoon for a true "downeast" lobster bake.
Visit the gorgeous mansions of The Gilded Age in fabulous Newport, Rhode Island. Explore the historic lighthouses, museums, mansions, and Main Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland, Maine.
In Bar Harbor, enjoy delicious Maine Lobster (LOBSTAH!), New England Clam Chowder (CHOWDAH!), visit Acadia National Park and see the natural scenic wonder called Thunder Hole (No, that is not the name of one of our cruisers).
In Halifax, Nova Scotia, enjoy strolling along the shops, restaurants, and museums of the harbor. For history buffs, visit the graves of Titanic victims at Fairview Lawn Cemetery or the Museum of the Atlantic.
At St. John on the Bay of Fundy, have a “fun day” visiting Reversing Fall Rapids where the tide makes the river flow “backwards”, and explore this beautiful coastal village.

Day 1 - New York, New York
Everyone loves New York and there are a million reasons why. Here are but a few: the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, the Ellis Island National Monument, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, Times Square, Broadway, Greenwich Village, 5th Avenue and Central Park.
Day 2 - Newport, Rhode Island
During the 19th century, Newport served as the summer playground for the rich and famous. Residents displayed their fabulous wealth in the form of palatial estates overlooking the Atlantic. Today, these extraordinary and meticulously maintained homes line the city's famed "Mansion Row" and are a must-see for any visitor.
Day 3 - Portland, Maine
Portland offers all the amenities of a big city: art districts, a vibrant waterfront, museums, parks and diverse shopping opportunities. But within minutes, you can be enjoying the view from an historic lighthouse or tasting a juicy, local lobster.
Day 4 - Bar Harbor, Maine This coastal attraction has retained much of its charm since its glory days of the 1900s, when America's elite vacationed here in opulent summer cottages. Surrounding the rock-bound harbor is the world-famous Acadia National Park where the opulence of nature is on display.
Day 5 - Halifax, Nova Scotia Admire the rugged coastline that surrounds Halifax, the world's second-largest natural harbor. This beautifully preserved city is Nova Scotia's capital and was founded in 1749. Take steps through history and climb to The Citadel to witness the Old Town Clock.
Day 6 - Saint John, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick Saint John's history is evident in its weather-worn look, passing the tests of salt air, sea winds and a devastating fire that have all contributed to making Saint John the greatest little city in the east. Be sure to look for your ship in the port against the beauty of the Bay of Fundy from Fort Howe lookout.
Day 7 - Fun Day at Sea! This is our last day at sea, so take advantage of the down time before we get to New York! All that stuff you didn’t do on ship? Today’s the day to fit it in!
Day 8 - New York City, New York Often hailed as the most exciting city in the world, New York is a place you have to see at least once in a lifetime. It’s home to one of the world’s biggest and best gay scenes. You’ll find endless iconic locations. So many movies are set in New York - it feels like you’ve already been before you even arrive. The New York gay scene used to be centered around Greenwich Village, along with New York’s bohemian scene. The biggest gay scene in New York today can be found in Hell’s Kitchen. Some of our favorite Hell’s Kitchen gay bars include Industry and Flaming Saddles. All are popular with tourists. If you’re planning a big gay night out in New York, Hell’s Kitchen is the place to be.
