 Since its opening
in 2004, Detox Retox has
established itself as a popular and comfortable place to spend an hour or
two before moving on to a restaurant or to the late bars and clubs in the
Yumbo.
With leather
sofas rather than the usual garden furniture, it's much more like a Soho
wine bar than the usual GC gay haunt. A place to meet with friends rather
than somewhere for serious cruising, it's
gay but not exclusively so, and is popular with British and Spanish visitors.
You'll find it next door to Mundo (Detox Retox serves bar snacks provided by
this excellent restaurant), and opposite the Merlin restaurant.
