Gay Bolivia TourBolivia is a landlocked nation which has traditionally been the destination for backpackers more than group tours and affluent travelers. With the recent improvements to roads and some infrastructure, Bolivia has opened up more. The population is around 62 indigenous, the highest percentage in the continent, and the strong, authentic link with the pre-Columbian past makes a trip to Bolivia unique, exciting and colorful. The native languages of Quechua & Aymara are widely spoken, and the colorful native dress is still worn by many.

Highlights of our trip include Potosi, where the Silver Boom of the 16th century supplied the Spanish Crown with vast wealth, at the expense of the native population and eventually African slaves. The world’s largest salt flats are in Uyuni, located at 12,139 ft above sea level. Lake Titicaca boasts being the highest navigable lake in the world. It is also at 12,507 ft above sea level. The urban centers of La Paz, Santa Cruz and Sucre offer colonial architecture, Indian markets and some stunning views of the Andes. Adventurous travelers will want to see these wonders in one of the most elusive South American countries.
