The Garden District
Easily reached on the historic St. Charles Avenue Streetcar, this upscale neighborhood displays another face of the architecture of the Deep South. Day 1 - Tampa, Florida
Tampa Bay is a lively port city located off of the beautiful Gulf Coast of Central Florida. Home to two large universities, a vibrant sports scene, and award-winning beaches, our cruises from Tampa take you to the Caribbean and beyond. This underrated city offers all kinds of diversions for your entire group, from world-class museums to natural wonders and water-based adventures.

Day 3 - New Orleans, Louisiana
It’s easy to get lost in the magic of New Orleans. With its stately Creole-style architecture, world-class food scene, and impromptu parades, this loud, colorful city makes for a great start to any adventure. If you cruise from New Orleans, you should definitely plan to spend a few days exploring the city’s French Quarter, famous for its nightlife, jazz clubs, street performers and iconic balconied buildings.
Day 4 - New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans has one of the best gay scenes in the South. It’s one of America’s most liberal cities, not to mention one of the most hedonistic. New Orleans has long been associated with decadence. From Mardi Gras to Anne Rice’s vampire novels, it’s a place of excess. You just have to visit Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras! Drinking on the street is legal in New Orleans, unlike most American cities.
Day 5 - New Orleans, Louisiana
Make sure to try some of New Orleans’s famous sweet beignets and chicory café au lait at some point during your visit, but save room for heartier fare — New Orleans is known around the world for its cooking, and you’re going to want to dig in to steaming bowls of jambalaya, crispy po-boys and savory muffalettas. If you visit New Orleans, you should also pencil in a ghost tour — the city is famous for its haunted history, and local tour guides do a great job bringing all the hair-raising details to life.

Day 9 - Tampa, Florida
Tampa checks all the boxes for cool city break status, with expansive strollable neighbourhoods, fascinating museums, a varied and multicultural culinary scene and a number of independent and trendy bars. Tampa is becoming an increasingly stylish gay travel destination, and whilst the city is not as liberal as Orlando or Miami, it’s still an incredibly gay-friendly destination.
The gay scene in Tampa can largely be found around the historic “Ybor city”. In the district, gay travelers will find a plethora of gay bars and clubs, many of which host regular drag shows, cabaret performances and themed nights.
