Itinerary is subject to change
Day 1 - Saturday, August 24, 2024 Split / Primošten
Embarkation in Split starts at noon. After the crew presentation, we set sail at 2 pm. Lunch on board as we cruise towards Primošten, a small, picturesque town in the central part of the Adriatic coast and surrounded by seven other islets, a wonderful sight and a beautiful place to explore. Today's tour (optional) is a traditional Croatian dinner in a typical konoba, reserved exclusively for us. Overnight in Primošten.
Day 2 - Sunday, August 25, 2024 Primošten / Telašcica / Zadar
Morning cruise towards Zadar, well known for its rich historical heritage, Roman Forum from the 1st century and St Donat church from the 9th century as well as the famous, contemporary Sea Organs and “Greeting to the Sun” light installation. One of the most famous phenomena found in the Kornati and the Telašcica Nature Park are the ‘crowns’, steep cliffs found that are tectonic fault plane formed as a result of the moving of the African tectonic plate towards north and its subduction underneath the Eurasian plate. In certain places the ‘crowns’ (cliffs) descend vertically to the depth of over 90 m below sea level. Overnight in Zadar or (weather permitting) anchored in Telašcica Bay.
Day 3 - Monday, August 26, 2024 Zadar / Pag
Pag island is best known for its forbidding naked terrain, its salty sheep’s-milk cheese (Paški sir), its herb-infused lamb, and its wild party beaches. In recent years, Pag has become an increasingly popular island to visit in no small part because the resort of Novalja – to the north of the island – is considered one of Croatia’s premier party destinations. Overnight in Pag.
Day 4 - Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Pag / Mali Lošinj
After breakfast and the morning swim, cruise towards Lošinj, known as the “sunshine island” for its abundance of pines, wildflowers, and herbs. On arrival, stroll along the pretty waterfront, visit the Museum of Apoxiomenos, or walk up to the Lošinj Aromatic Garden full of indigenous herbs and plants. Overnight in Mali Lošinj.
Day 5 - Wednesday, August 28, 2024 Mali Lošinj / Brijuni / Pula
While enjoying the breakfast on board, cruise towards the National Park Brijuni, which consists of 14 islands and islets with numerous dinosaur footprints. Explore this oasis of magnificent harmony between man, animal and plant life.
After lunch on board, the cruise continues towards Pula. Settled in the prehistoric era and valued for its strategic location, Pula has been occupied, destroyed, and rebuilt numerous times. The Arena in Pula is the only remaining Roman amphitheater to have four side towers entirely preserved. The peninsula of Istria is also a foodie paradise, with quality wine varieties like Borgonja, Hrvatica, Malvasia and Teran. Overnight in Pula.
Day 6 - Thursday, August 29, 2024 Pula / Cres
Departure towards Cres after breakfast and the morning swim. This unspoiled island of long and narrow shape is abundant with olive groves, vineyards, forests of oak, beech, and remarkable stone walls. Cres and Mali Lošinj were once connected as one island before the Romans dug a narrow channel to separate them. Spend the night in the port of Cres, a typical medieval town.
Day 7 - Friday, August 30, 2024 Cres / Opatija
After breakfast, departure towards Opatija. The famous Opatija Riviera is best seen from the sea. Stroll the longest seaside promenade in Croatia or stop in Volosko, a traditional fishing village with some of the best fish restaurants in the country. Opatija, a charming coastal town with a rich history and culture, has many fantastic locations, impressive monuments, well-manicured parks and magnificent villas that are waiting to be discovered. Overnight in Opatija.
Day 8 - Saturday, August 31, 2024 Opatija, Croatia / Venice, Italy
Early morning departure. Disembark in Opatija right after breakfast, before 9 a.m. and transfer by bus (3 hours) to Venice for a post-cruise tour or to catch your flight from Marco Polo airport. Included in the cruise rate.
Additional Post-cruise Venice program with tours & host hotel will be offered early in 2024.
Please note that some details may change.
