Celebrity's Infinity
Celebrity Infinity is the proud owner of some of the most satisfying experiences on the seas – however you enjoy passing your time. You can stay connected at our Celebrity iLounge®, packed with Apple® products and staffed with technology experts to help you learn valuable new skills. The Canyon Ranch SpaClub® is the place to visit for a range of fabulous treatments, from meditative relaxation to serene sensory options. Lie back and let the troubles of everyday life melt away in one of the largest and most luxurious spas afloat. When the time for entertainment comes, head to Martini Bar & Crush to see our talented bar staff put on a fantastic show over a bar made of ice – then taste a cool classic or contemporary Martini. For breathtaking views, pay a visit to our Constellation Lounge for a night of dancing under glowing disco lights while the sea shimmers outside.
Celebrity Infinity offers an array of exciting dining options. For a dining experience like no other, head to Qsine® for truly contemporary cuisine. Here, you can order your meal on an iPad® and watch as an intriguingly unique meal – comprised of classic and familiar flavours – is served. AquaClass® guests will also get access to the select Blu restaurant, where delicious cuisine awaits in an exclusive environment. Best of all, every dish on the menu has been designed to fit in with your healthy lifestyle, so it is a treat you can give yourself without feeling guilty. Sandwiches, salads, crepes, desserts and more are on the menu in the casual and lively surroundings of Bistro on Five. Meanwhile, our SS United States Restaurant uses an elegant menu alongside genuine fittings from the grand vessel herself to offer one of the most memorable Celebrity Infinity dining experiences.
Staterooms on board Celebrity Infinity are stylishly fitted with forward-thinking design in every aspect. The experience is indulgent from the moment you step on board – and there are accommodation options to suit the tastes of every guest. A stateroom is more than just a room. It is a place where guests can lie back, relax and take in the unmistakable luxury of a Celebrity Cruises holiday. Most of our staterooms include a private balcony for a personal open space, while others offer a superb sea view. Select an Inside Stateroom for a cosy stay, or a luxurious Penthouse Suite for incredible views and European-style butler service. All staterooms include en-suite facilities and luxurious bed linen.
San Diego, California
In addition to being home to a world-class zoo and aquarium, San Diego is a laid-back navy town that is the closest U.S. city to Mexico. Great Mexican/American cuisine, Spanish-inspired architecture and what some consider the best weather in North America, make San Diego a destination unto itself.
Bordered by the Anza-Borrego Desert, the Laguna Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean, San Diego is blessed with a year-round Mediterranean climate, which only adds to the attraction of its 70 miles of beaches.
San Diego is undoubtedly one of the most dynamic, vibrant and beautiful cities in the United States. Beginning in the late 1700s around the Catholic mission of San Diego de Alcala, the town and harbor grew to be a vital port on California's Pacific coast.
Though the military presence has been greatly reduced over the past few years, San Diego has a long and abiding relationship with the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The Navy, under Marine guard, first raised the American flag over San Diego on July 29, 1846. From World War II through Viet Nam, the Cold War and beyond, many San Diego families eagerly awaited their loved ones to return from the sea.
Rich with Mexican – American culture, San Diego has many wonderful museums, restaurants, parks, entertainment and shopping venues, and professional sports teams. The bay, surrounding waters and beaches combine with great weather year round to offer a wide variety of opportunities for boaters, surfers and swimmers. A city with an active, outdoor life style mixed with its own brand of "California Cool" … San Diego.
Santa Barbara, California
The gentle green foothills of Santa Barbara are decorated with red-tile roofed haciendas, twisted California oaks, a polo field or two, and some cool hideaways where Hollywood´s hottest stars travel for a little respite from big city life. Walk in the footsteps of early Spanish Franciscan missionaries who founded Santa Barbara´s magnificent mission in 1786. Its shaded courtyard and quiet chapel provid a sanctuary for many travelers.
• Touring the vineyards of Santa Barbara Wine Country is always a tasty sojourn. Some 42 wineries dot the inland region with 12,000 acres of planted vines. Tasting rooms and tours are available throughout the area, as well as first-class restaurants and gourmet delicatessens to pack up a picnic. • A visit to one of Santa Barbara's nine beaches is a must. Choose from the beautiful Butterfly Beach, set smack along the bikepath in front of the Four Seasons Biltmore, to the surf-ripe Leadbetter Beach. West Beach offers calm swimming waters and lifeguards on duty.
Monterey, California
Since the 1880s, visitors have been enjoying the spectacular beauty of the Central Coast. Located between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Monterey County's dramatic ocean scenery, pristine pine forests, and historic communities continue to beckon adventure-seekers, seafarers, artists, writers and vacationers. And no other California county can boast 99 miles of breathtaking Pacific coastline. Whether you come for our recreational activities from golf to scuba-diving, our arts and cultural events from the Carmel Bach Festival to the lively Festa Santa Rosalia, or our matchless range of art galleries, fine restaurants and wineries, Monterey County welcomes you. Families or couples, singles and groups of friends, we have something for you, year-round.
• Carmel Valley is home to many wineries, farms, ranches and the beautiful Garland Ranch Regional Park.
• The National Steinbeck Center in Salinas is cultural tourism at its best, offering a journey through author John Steinbeck's life and works with interactive exhibits for all ages.
• The Point Piños Lighthouse is located on the northern most tip of the Monterey Peninsula. The building, lenses and prisms of the light are all original. It is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the west coast and is listed on the national register of historic places. • Monterey Bay Whale Watch offers year-round whale watching trips to observe the spectacular diversity and abundance of whales and dolphins inhabiting the Bay.
San Francisco, California
One of America's loveliest cities, San Francisco's hilly streets provide some gorgeous glimpses of the Bay and its famous bridges. This picturesque city is unique in its style and personality, and it charms everyone who comes here. While you're in San Francisco, take the time to explore this beautiful city. Walk down Lombard, the crookedest street in the world. Take a trip to San Francisco's famous Chinatown for Dim Sum. Explore the waterfront and stop in to sample chocolate at Ghirardelli Square. Ride one of San Francisco's famous cable cars, and gaze at the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge.
• Enjoy the scenery on a boat ride out to Alcatraz, the famous "escape-proof" prison in the bay.
• Check out Sausalito, a quaint little town where you'll find charming art galleries and arts-and-crafts stores.
• Explore the redwood forest of Muir Woods. Take a leisurely stroll through part of the 550-acre National Monument. Within the woods, there are fabled 800-year-old giant coastal redwood trees that rise 250 feet or more.
• Head down to Monterey Bay and along the coastal road toward famous Cannery Row.
• Take a trip to Carmel, home of artists and craftspeople. Stroll through the delightful village, then visit the Carmel Mission, one of the most popular and historic of the 21 missions built in California from 1769 through 1823.
Astoria, Oregon
Join the ranks of distinguished visitors, starting with Captain John Gray in 1792 and Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery in 1805. Astoria is a picturesque city that offers an interesting slice of American history. It's full of the pleasures of small-town life, such as beautiful Victorian homes, the 4.1-mile-long Astoria Bridge and the many fishing trips that offer the thrill of landing your own salmon, sturgeon or crab.
Explore the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies. Discover Astoria's famous Union Town, Doughboy Monument, beautiful Victorian homes and churches. View the Astoria Column, displaying scenes commemorating important events in the area's history.
• Tour Fort Clatsop, a replica of the fort depicted in William Clark's journal.
• Visit the Maritime Museum, which houses some of the region's prized artifacts.
• Visit Mount St. Helens and see the crater, lava dome and blast zone of this infamous volcano.
• Go for a bike ride at Fort Stevens. You'll see Battery Russell, dating back to the early 20th century, with its panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean; Cape Disappointment Light House and the Washington State shoreline. While you're there, look for the wreck of the Peter Iredale, an English ship that ran aground in 1906.
Seattle, Washington
Seattle is often characterized by its laid-back attitude and rainy climate, but this thriving metropolis also offers one-of-a-kind architecture, the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges, and a unique urban sophistication.
Pacific Science Center began as the United States Science Pavilion during the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. Millions came to explore the wonders of science during the World's Fair and upon closing ceremonies, the Science Pavilion was given new life as the private not-for-profit Pacific Science Center, becoming the first U.S. museum founded as a science and technology center.
• Woodland Park Zoo is a conservation and education institution demonstrating the value, beauty and interdependence of all living things.
• See, touch and explore our amazing underwater world at the Seattle Aquarium. Get face-to-fin with marine life and discover the natural wonders of the Puget Sound.
• The Space Needle is located at Seattle Center.
• The Washington Park Arboretum is a spectacular urban green space on the shores of Lake Washington just east of downtown Seattle and south of the University of Washington.
• Check out the Experience Music Project, a rock-n-roll museum known not only for its contents, but for its architectural design.
• Stroll through the historic district of Pioneer Square, filled with art galleries, restaurants, and plenty of bookstores and boutiques.
• Gain some historical insight at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.
Nanaimo, British Columbia
Located on central Vancouver Island, Nanaimo with its natural beauty, attractions and activities, is waiting to be explored. The opportunities are endless. World-class diving; shopping, accommodations; arts and culture; hiking/biking/kayaking; and a protected harbour second to none make getaways for leisure, conventions, seminars, corporate travel, and tours that much more enjoyable.
Victoria, British Columbia
Located on the southern tip on the island of Vancouver in British Columbia, the city of Victoria is probably best known for its mild climate and active outdoor lifestyle. (In fact, the city has been named the "fittest city" in Canada more than once.) As the capital of British Columbia, the city is very tourist-friendly. Among the many attractions are world-famous gardens, its 150 years of British history, gourmet dining and fantastic shopping.
Visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens or the lush and exotic Butterfly Gardens and see how Victoria earned the nickname "The City of Gardens."
• Explore Victoria's history on a Grand City Drive. Visit the awe-inspiring Craigdarroch Castle with its 39 rooms and five stories of stained glass and end the day with high tea at the world-famous Fairmont Empress Hotel.
• Tour a few of the local pubs and microbreweries along the Victoria Ale Trail or maybe some wine tasting at one of the area's award-winning vineyards.
• Enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing on a tour of exclusive residential districts, historic Chinatown, and Antique Row, one of the many shopping districts.
Vancouver, British Columbia
Most of Canada's imports from and exports to the Orient and Australia pass through Vancouver, Canada's gateway to the Pacific. From the harbor entrance, you can see the Lion's Gate, made up of twin mountain peaks closely resembling crouching lions. Visitors enjoy discovering this cosmopolitan city, from the shops of Robson Street to historic Gastown.
Vancouver often feels like a mini-United Nations, and nowhere is that more true than Robson Street, a popular shopping and dining area. Find a bench and watch the world go by. You'll be amazed at all the countries you see represented.
• Explore the highlights of the city, including Gastown and Chinatown.
• Visit the City Centre, featuring Robson Street, the new city library, the Ford Centre for the Performing Arts, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and the old Expo '86 site.
• Get close to nature in Stanley Park, the incredible Vancouver Aquarium and Queen Elizabeth Park, the highest point in Vancouver.
