Day 1 - Thursday, March 14, 2013
Arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Argentina Gay Tour - Buenos Aires• You board your flight for Peru, arriving in Lima late in the evening of the same day.

• Upon arrival in Buenos Aires you clear customs and meet your guide who will take you to your vehicle for the trip to your centrally located hotel.

• Depending on your origination point you may feel like a nap but we advise staying up in order to get into a regular sleeping pattern.

• There are many shops, parks and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel so take a stroll and "tough it out".

• The time change is not that dramatic since Buenos Aires is only an hour ahead of the East Coast so have an early dinner and then a good night's sleep.

 

Day 2 - Friday, March 15, 2013
The Neighborhoods of Buenos Aires
Argentina Gay Tour - Buenos Aires• Buenos Aires is an elegant and cosmopolitan city with a European flavor and a friendly atmosphere. You will get to see quite a bit of it today accompanied by your personal guide.

• You will start with the monumental highlights like the main square, Plaza de Mayo with is neo-classical Cathedral, colonial town hall and the Presidential Palace, the "Casa Rosada" which Juan and Eva Peron once inhabited.

• You then continue to the old neighborhood of San Telmo with its narrow cobblestone streets; La Boca with its multi-colored tin houses, the elegant Barrio Norte neighborhood, and Palermo with its wonderful parks and gardens, monuments and magnificent mansions.

Argentina Gay Tour - Buenos Aires• After lunch you have some free time.

• In the evening we escort you to Puerto Madero, the fashionable docklands district to a theatre designed by Philippe Starck. Here you will enjoy the Rojo Tango show which combines a fantastic dinner with a tango show with many dancers backed by an excellent orchestra.

• After the show you can return to the hotel or enjoy the many clubs in Puerto Madero. We can provide recommendations.

Day 3 - Saturday, March 16, 2013
Shopping by Day, Mendoza by Night
Argentina gay tour - Mendoza• We have left the morning open for you to explore the city at your own pace, perhaps returning to one of the favorite neighborhoods seen yesterday.

• There are many fine art galleries, antique shops and boutiques close to your hotel and we can offer advice.

• You may also want to try Patio Bullrich the most upscale shopping plaza in Buenos Aires.

• In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Mendoza situated in the foothills of the Andes, blessed by rich sunlight and considered to be the wine capital of Argentina.

• Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel where you have dinner in preparation of the "work" ahead.

Day 4 - Sunday, March 17, 2013
Working the "Terroir"
Argentina Gay Tour - Bodega Norton• After a hearty breakfast you will be driven to the Lujan de Cuyo area and Bodega Norton where you will have a hands-on experience in the creation and production of wine.

• First you start with your work in the vineyards. No matter what season you visit there is work to be done. Obviously in the spring( our fall) weeding and leaf removal are in order.

• After some firsthand field experience you will visit the winery to watch the wine making activity in process.

• You will then have lunch at the vineyards accompanied by a variety of wines before returning to the hotel.

• Mendoza has a vital restaurant scene and we will provide you with a list of recommendations for dinner.

Day 5 - Monday, March 18, 2013
Biking and Tasting
Argentina Gay Tour - Maipu• Today you are going to the wine area known as Maipu to the Family Zuccardi Winery.

• Here you pick up your bike for a leisurely ride through the incredible landscape of vineyards, olive groves and mountains.

• During your tour you will see many activities undertaken in the vineyards (many of which you will be familiar with from yesterday).

• Along the way you will stop in specific areas to sample the wine from that section of the vineyard.

• At lunchtime you return to the main centre of the vineyard where you enjoy lunch along with the complimentary wines.

Day 6 - Tuesday, March 19, 2013
From the Vineyards to the Falls
Argentina Gay Tour - Iguazu Falls• After breakfast you will be escorted to the airport for the flight to Iguazu Falls which is situated in the extreme northeastern region of the country over a thousand miles from Buenos Aires and shares the falls with Brazil and Paraguay.

• Sacred land for the Guarani nation and a UNESCO World Heritage Site the falls consists of 275 waterfalls some of them as high as 250 feet.

• Upon arrival you are transferred to your luxury resort which is located about fifteen minutes from the falls and features three inter-connected pools, five restaurants, a cabaret theatre, a spa and a casino.

• You have plenty of options for dinner this evening.

Day 7 - Wednesday, March 20, 2013
The Argentinean Falls
Iguazu Falls Gay Tour• This is the day to explore the falls from the Argentinean side.

• The hotel has packed a box lunch to keep you fortified during the explorations.

• Your guide will take you on a walking tour of the upper rim of the falls where you get a panoramic view of the many falls that make up the whole.

• You then board a train to the " Devil's Throat" where you take a trip along a walkway where you get a chance to see and hear the falls which are 450 feet wide and over 240 feet down in a display of raw power.

Iguazu Falls Gay Tour• After your boxed lunch you move to the lower circuit which gives a different perspective on the falls.

• Here at the lower level of the falls you feel the spirit of the forest; humidity, sounds, aromas and the penetrating mist that dominates the area.

• After a day with nature perhaps some cabaret and a chance at the roulette table?

Day 8 - Thursday, March 21, 2013
The Brazilian Falls
Iguazu Falls Gay Tour• Today you will travel to the Brazilian side of the falls (Brazilian visa required) to a park created in 1939.

• It is considered one of the most beautiful ecological reserves on the planet and while most of the falls are on the Argentinean side the views of the falls are better from the Brazilian side.

• Tonight is your last chance to double or recoup your luck at the casino from the night before.

Day 9 - Friday, March 22, 2013
A Morning at Leisure
Argentina and Brazil Iguazu Falls Gay Tour•You have all morning to relax and enjoy the facilities of the resort.

• In the afternoon you are transferred to the airport for the flight back to Buenos Aires.

The Pampas and the Runway

• Here you will be immersed in the Gaucho culture, eat a prodigious amount of beef and, if lucky, catch a game of Polo.

• You can also go for a ride in a sulky or get your own horse and gallop on the pampas.
