Greek Isles & Istanbul Gay Group Cruise 2025

7 nights from/to Athens (Piraeus), Greece

June 13 – 20, 2025
Costa Cruises Costa Fortuna

Greek Islands Gay Cruise 2025Do you want to discover the beauty of Istanbul and the Greek Islands? Well, in June 2025 we invite you to enjoy a spectacular gay group cruise onboard of Costa Fortuna. Embark in Athens with us to spend a week visiting incredible ports where you can get to know new cultures or enjoy incomparable architectural monuments. Departing from the Greek capital we will visit Istanbul (Turkey), Mykonos (Greece), Heraklion (Greece), Rhodes (Greece) and Santorini (Greece).

Each port is a historic marvel, a surprise, and a dream. Costa Cruises lets us discover those roots in the Mediterranean that encompass the cradle of Europe. Greece, with its history and legend, overlooks a beautiful sea behind its grand monuments.

Gay Mykonos Cruise

It’s no wonder the Greek Islands have always been a perennial favorite of travelers. Greece is a magical, romantic destination where you can wander alongside stunning coastlines, explore the ruins of ancient cultures, and dine on fresh Mediterranean cuisine all in one vacation.

On one of our Greek Island cruises, explore far-flung beaches, drift out to sea on catamarans and kayaks, and duck into tiny tavernas where you can eat and drink like a local. From the sun-soaked stone buildings in Santorini to the white-sand beaches that beckon in Mykonos, a Greece cruise is the best way to experience the captivating Greek Islands.

Gay Istanbul Cruise

History lovers will find plenty to occupy their time during their Istanbul cruise, like touring the Blue Mosque or the Basilica Cistern. See the Hagia Sophia, one of the most enduring and famous sights in all of Istanbul. Shop and haggle at the Grand Bazaar, or make a day of admiring artisanal goods at the Kadiköy Produce Market just a ferry ride away. Admire the strait of Bosphorus, which connects the continents of Europe and Asia, from an awe-inspiring suspension bridge spanning 19 miles. Istanbul is both modern and historied at once.

There is no shortage of unforgettable experiences to be had in Greece. Its seascapes and cityscapes are wondrous, from the mighty ruins of the Acropolis to the buzzing, modern city center of Athens. Visit an olive farm in Crete, or embark on a tour of Mykonos Town’s organic wineries. Or, take an intimate, exclusive cooking lesson on how to make local favorites in Santorini’s main square, right in the middle of it all.

Athens gay cruise

Day 1 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece
The cradle of Greek culture, Athens welcomes us to its port of Piraeus, watching us from above the wonderful Acropolis. Athens is a great city to discover. It can claim to be, in no small part, the birthplace of western civilisation. You'll see great monuments from Ancient Greece, chiefly the Parthenon. This temple complex looms over the city, the greatest architectural relic of Greece's Golden Age.

Greece gay cruise sea day

Day 2 - Fun Day at Sea!
Strait of the Dardanelles: 'Dervishes Show'
Crossing the Dardanelles Strait by boat at sunset will be like travelling through time. You will see the gates of the Orient appear in the spiralling veils of the Dervishes, authentic ritual dancers who have practised a mystical, whirling dance as a form of meditation for centuries. A unique sight.

Istanbul gay cruise

Day 3 - Istanbul, Turkey
Many say this is the most beautiful city in the world. What is certain is that it’s a unique city, the gateway to the East with a portion of its heart still in the West. The country has been a bridge between the two continents for thousands of years, which you might catch a glimpse of on your cruise to Istanbul. Istanbul offers sensory delights at every turn, from its towering, colorful minarets to the scent of coffee brewing in fragrant cardamom and sugar.

Mykonos gay cruise

Day 4 - Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos is perhaps the most known and famous of the Greek isles, and public fascination with the island has seen a massive uptick in recent years. The secret’s out—Mykonos is sophisticated and glossy, the younger sibling of Athens, where bright white buildings pop against seriously blue waters and bougainvillea blooms unrestricted, Mykonos cruise revel in incredible nightlife, alluring white sand beaches, and a stay-up-all-night spirit.

Gulf of Mykonos: "Sea Party"
All the energy of the Mykonos night comes on board for a poolside sea party. Amidst the lights and colours reminiscent of the island's golden beaches and white houses, DJs with music from the most glamorous clubs in the area will keep you dancing late into the night. An immersive feast of pure fun.
Dress code: for a truly on-theme look, don't forget to pack a Mykonos Glam outfit with a touch of blue for the perfect ensemble.

Crete gay cruise

Day 5 - Heraklion, Crete
Sail into the stunning port of Heraklion, a charming seaside city that was once ruled by Arabs, Ottomans, and Venetians. Behind the striking fortified walls that line its waterfront, you’ll discover medieval monuments, ancient palaces, and a trove of archeological wonders that span back millennia. As the capital of Crete, Heraklion is also an important commercial port full of modern museums, a bustling culinary scene, and a walkable historic center.

Rhodes gay cruise

Day 6 - Rhodes, Greece
On a cruise to Rhodes, you’ll discover the island’s long, sandy beaches, vibrant culture, and thousands of years of history that unfold as you explore. Experience winding Byzantine streets in Old Town. See the magnificent palaces built by the medieval Knights of St. John. Venture further afield to beautiful Lindos, a whitewashed hill town dominated by a dramatic acropolis and an ancient temple.

Santorini gay cruise

Day 7 - Santorini, Greece
Cruise to Santorini, Greece help share the effortless beauty and history of the island with the world. Though it’s no longer a well-kept secret, Santorini’s charm cannot be diminished. The island’s multicolored structures pop against the blue-and-white buildings and the turquoise Aegean sea below. Less academic than Athens, quieter than summer party town Mykonos, Santorini is one of the most-visited destinations on any number of Mediterranean cruises, and for good reason.

Athens Greece gay cruise

Day 8 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece
The gay scene in Athens has developed rapidly over the past few years. Most of the scene is located in the Gazi district, which has become known as the 'gay village' (located near Kerameikos metro station). Nightlife starts late in Athens. With a couple of exceptions, most gay bars don't open until 10 pm and things start to get busy around midnight. Sodade2 has been Athens most famous gay dance club for over 15 years and boasts two dancefloors playing mainstream hits and greek anthems.
