Day 1 - Los Angeles, California
Known as the City of Angels, Los Angeles could more accurately be dubbed the City of Endless Adventures. This West Coast capital has something for every kind of traveler — interesting history, a mind-blowing food scene, beautiful landscapes, and a unique mix of glitz, glamour and metropolitan grit. You’ll find it all here — sprawling mansions in star-studded neighborhoods like Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Calabasas, hanging red lanterns and sculpted dragons in Chinatown, traditional Mexican shopping stalls selling handmade crafts along Olvera Street — the list goes on and on. If you’re a film buff, wander down Sunset Boulevard and keep your eyes on the ground — the sidewalk is covered in stars dedicated to famous actors, actresses and celebrities. Head to the Santa Monica Pier for a sun-soaked beach day and a ride on the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel. Even if you only have a single day to spare ahead of your cruise from Los Angeles, it’s worth setting aside some time to get to know the best of LA.
Your ship departs promptly at 4:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your holiday early.
Day 2 - Fun Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 3 - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Explore Baja's quintessential seaside town — check out Iglesia de San Lucas, a Spanish missionary church dating back to 1730. Then, see the majestic, photo-ready rock arches on the tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Take in views of clear ocean waters and desert-like landscapes on the coastline of the Sea of Cortez, or relax on the sands of Playa Medano before popping in for a margarita at an oceanside watering hole. Drive the coast that connects both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo for gorgeous seascapes and delicious cuisine by the sea. Stop by the San Jose del Cabo farmers market and take succulent fruits and vegetables with you to the beach.
Day 4 - Mazatlan, Mexico
Cradled by mountains and lapped by the cerulean waters of the Pacific, Mazatlán is one of the most interesting resort towns on Mexico’s wild western coast. If you’re planning a cruise to Mazatlán, you’re in for a real treat. You’ll find it all here — stately plazas and shaded streets lined with restored landmarks in the city’s Centro Historico. Beautiful white-sand beaches dotted with lively cafes, bars and plenty of space to sunbathe. And endless ways to dive into the region’s unique history, which is filled with Spanish conquistadors, buccaneer battles, and Gold Rush-era prospectors.
Day 5 - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Puerto Vallarta is paradise and romance defined. Relax on pristine beaches such as Yelapa, admire the the terracotta roofs of the old town and take in the impressive views of the bay from its charming promenade. From there, walk down to Los Arcos, the Roman-style arches overlooking the water that are Vallarta's most iconic symbol. Then, head to El Malecon, a beachside walkway with contemporary sculptures, as well as bars, lounges and nightclubs. Stroll down the old town and take in the hustling and bustling of the lively streets. Look for street stalls selling every Mexican dish under the sun, from tamales to enchiladas.
Days 6 & 7 - Fun Day at Sea!
Our first full day is at sea. Relax, unwind and get into vacation mode. Lounge on your private balcony or near one of the pools, or maybe even find a quiet nook to settle in with a book. Want to be more active on your day at sea? Play bingo, work out at the gym, watch a movie, dance all night, attend a cooking seminar, soak in a hot tub, watch a sunset (or a sunrise), play trivia games, sing along at the piano bar, do some wine tasting, check your email or surf the internet, grab a snack, watch live entertainment, get lucky in the casino, indulge in a spa treatment, catch the game in the sports bar, and on and on...
Day 8 - Los Angeles, California
Los Angeles is one of the best destinations on earth for gay travelers. The population of West Hollywood is roughly 40% LGBT+, making it one of the gayest neighbourhoods on earth – arguably the gayest in any big city. Hollywood was always a magnet for bohemians and liberal minded people – long before being gay was legal. That made Los Angeles an appealing destination for LGBT+ Americans.
There are many excellent gay bars and clubs in Los Angeles. The nightlife is pretty wild! LA is not just a plastic fantastic home to stars and aspiring actors; it’s also a major cultural destination. LA is a big city and it’s quite spread out, so it’s best to explore specific areas, such as WeHo and Little Venice.
