Virgin Voyages' third ship had her inaugural season in 2024th. Be one of the first sailors to experience this revolutionary ship design where interior spaces were curated by world-renowned interior designers Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio, New York’s Roman and Williams, Concrete Amsterdam and Softroom.
The Resilient Lady has pulled out all the stops to become a floating design icon. From the VIP top deck, club lounge and sky rooms through to that unique tattoo studio, you’ll find that no detail has been overlooked. You’ll be cruising the Mediterranean in a ship that’s full of theatrical spaces and nautical touches, spiced up with a sense of drama and fun. And not a beige bedspread in sight.
Luxury Ship Features If you’re in the Mediterranean, you better make absolutely sure you’re making the most of every sun-kissed second. The Dock, the ship’s exclusive outdoor lounge, is where you can find total peace and tranquillity, with just the gentle sound of the waves and the occasional chatter of dolphins as they play in the bow waves. Feeling a little more active? The Athletic Club is the spot to head to, with the world’s largest daybed (they never do anything by halves onboard the Resilient Lady) to relax on when you need a breather from all that chilling out.
At night, the stars emerge with the glitz and glamour of The Manor nightclub. This dazzling club tips a nod to Richard Branson, charting his history in the music industry, and then celebrating that heritage by banging out some insane tunes until the small hours. If you want a break from the beat, head out on deck where you can gaze out at the ocean while a billion stars shine. This is the stuff memories are made of (oops, looks like another trip to Squid Ink, then…).
Fuelling up on Food
No luxury ship is complete without food, food, and more food, and the Resilient Lady doesn’t short-change you when it comes to chowing down. There’s over 20 choices of meals whenever you’re peckish – there’s no set menus or enforced meal times here. Whether you want a healthy snack at 6am or a midnight feast, the crew will cater for you.
First up, there’s Razzle Dazzle, where you’ll discover your inner vegan. Or, try the gloriously opulent Pink Algarve, serving Mexican fusion with all the trimmings.
And wait, what’s this? Street food onboard a ship? At the Resilient Lady’s Galley, you’ll find eight different food stalls selling everything from tacos to sushi, burgers to bento boxes and noodles. You may be cruising the Med, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world can’t join in.
Wellness and Zen Time on your Adult Voyage
There’s a concept at Virgin Voyages – Vitamin Sea. There’s nothing quite like the ocean to restore that inner wellness we all crave, so onboard you’ll get the time to re-energise with some state-of-the-art activities in the Crow’s Nest.
You can detox with sunrise or sunset yoga classes, or retox with a few rounds in the boxing ring. The B-Complex gym space gets your heart pumping with some serious cardio, or go for some zen time in Redemption, the Resilient Lady’s onboard spa.
Wallow about in glorious mud pools, get your chakras aligned on a quartz bed, or zone out with a spa treatment. Be warned, though: at night this mermaid’s hideaway transforms into a killer club, where the resident DJ gets things buzzing with some serious tunes.
Resilient Lady entertainment - mind-blowing revelry
Grab your glad rags, throw on your dancing shoes and be prepared to be amazed by some of the best cruise ship entertainment on the high seas. Virgin Voyages are going back to their musical roots with on board entertainment that’ll have you boogying until the sun comes up. Choose from a line-up of brand new, original shows and gigs developed by some of the best entertainers in the business. Like everything else on the Valiant Lady, cruise entertainment doesn’t get much better than this.
Just keep levelling up with an on-board party at the Manor, the Resilient Lady’s exclusive nightclub. Bag some front-row seats in the Red Room and be prepared to laugh your socks off or just stare slack-jawed in amazement at 21st-century magic and mayhem. The festival vibe keeps the curious entertained, and the cravers coming back for more. After a glorious meal and the best cocktails, it’s time to dance until dawn as the Resilient Lady steams her way to your next port of call.
Slumber at Sea in Luxury Cabins
Time for some snoozing, and Virgin Voyages have made sure that the cabins maintain that gloriously indulgent luxury you’ll find all over the Resilient Lady. Tom Dixon’s had a hand here too, designing the RockStar suites with flair and individuality, but with absolutely no compromise on comfort. All of the RockStar suites are on Deck 15, just under Richard’s Rooftop (RockStar VIPs get exclusive access to the club).
Book a RockStar suite and you get a host of VIP extras including airport transfers, luggage assistance and a private walk down the terminal pathway on arrival, as well as anytime boarding and early booking for special events. If you want to feel like a real rock star, this is your chance.
Day 1 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Shrouded in myth and legend, it's hard to take a step in Athens without stepping directly into history. Temples, shrines and statues pepper the ancient city, each dedicated to various iconic Greek luminaries – such as the original protectress of the ancient citadel, warrior goddess Athena – or Poseidon – the God of the sea. Look up towards the world famous Acropolis from the shop-and-cafe-lined boulevard and feel a sense of speechlessness that will continuously pop up throughout the day.
Day 2 - Fun Day at Sea!
Enjoy a day at sea by taking advantage of all the ship has to offer. Spend the day lounging poolside and soaking up the sun with your favorite cocktail in hand or sign up for group fitness classes including yoga, meditation, cycling, HIIT classes, and more. When it's time to eat, choose from 20+ eateries featuring menus curated by Michelin star chefs.
Day 3 & 4 - Istanbul, Turkey
Nestled between Europe and Asia, Turkey offers a blend of both worlds. The country has been a bridge between the two continents for thousands of years, which you might catch a glimpse of on your cruise to Turkey. Istanbul offers sensory delights at every turn, from its towering, colorful minarets to the scent of coffee brewing in fragrant cardamom and sugar. History lovers will find plenty to occupy their time during their Istanbul cruise, like touring the Blue Mosque or the Basilica Cistern. See the Hagia Sophia, one of the most enduring and famous sights in all of Istanbul. Shop and haggle at the Grand Bazaar, or make a day of admiring artisanal goods at the Kadiköy Produce Market just a ferry ride away.
Day 5 - Fun Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 6 - Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey
When your Kusadasi cruise ship docks in port, you’re perfectly positioned to head further inland to the ruins of Ephesus, where you’ll discover an off-the-beaten-path approach to Turkey. Ephesus, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is known for its significance in early Christianity. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where it’s said that the mother of Jesus Christ lived out her final days. Venture to the city of Priene on a day trip, where the ruins of the Temple of Athena are the main attraction.
Day 7 - Mykonos, Greece
Travel beyond the Mykonos that you’ve seen on your screen and lose yourself within the labyrinth of whitewashed building lined streets – accented, of course, by blue, green or red doors and handrails (and you thought your homeowner’s association was strict). Beauty is synonymous with Mykonos, and the only thing more beautiful than its aesthetic is its people and its acclaimed nightlife.
Day 8 - Rhodes, Greece
Historically, Rhodes is celebrated for being the home of one of the most remarkable of the seven wonders of the world, the Colossus of Rhodes – while in the current landscape it’s become one of the most sought after locations for those who actively search social media with the #takemethere. Travelers everywhere have Rhodes on their vision boards because of its bountiful beauty, inspired cuisine, historical significance and a little something we just can’t seem to put our finger on.
Day 9 - Santorini, Greece
Blue domes, windmills and white buildings sloping down a volcanic mountainside — yes, this is *that* postcard-worthy island whose stunning images are plastered on positive affirmation backdrops and smartphone homescreens alike, but now it’s yours to experience IRL. Go through the storied past when island hopping the coast by boat or kayak, take in the modern seafaring culture at a private beach club or immerse yourself in the natural world surrounding it by hiking through volcanic trails and hot springs.
Day 10 - Chania, Crete (Greece)
Crete has had thousands of years to develop a culture in a climate that simply captivates the modern traveler. The 600 miles of shoreline was a major hub between the Middle East, North Africa, and Continental Europe, culminating in a beautiful fusion of influences still present all over the island today.
Day 11 - Fun Day at Sea!
Enjoy a day at sea by taking advantage of all the ship has to offer. Later in the evening, enjoy shows onboard which were developed by the world’s most-talked-about producers and artists. With a festival-like lineup featuring original, first-to-sea productions, extraordinary pop-up acts, and immersive experiences, the entertainment on board is something you’ve never seen before.
Day 12 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece Athens – Europe’s action packed, oldest capital, considered to many as an archaeological theme park. As you approach the port of Piraeus you’ll find its entryway lined with visitors eager to be catapulted into one of the most exciting spectacles on the planet.

Before we start the tour, whether your rider specifies all red candy and one llama (try us), there's no dream this suite (and your personal agents) can't make a reality. The most extra of the Mega RockStar Suites, this one truly lives up to the name. Watch the waves from your terrace hot tub; host your new (or old) friends in the private lounge bar or make history starting your own band (yes, electric guitars included). Lose yourself in the music, and find yourself again the next morning meditating alongside the waves on your sprawling personal terrace.

Also included are the traditional Bear Cruise activities, subject to minimum participation. To enjoy Bears Group functions and excursions you must reserve room with us.
As long as the group minimum space requirements are met, then an onboard gay group host will be assigned. On our Hosted Group Cruises, we will have a representative on the cruise with you. We will have nightly meet ups and we will usually have a group shore excursion. A non-hosted Group Cruise is a cruise we organize, and we will arrange for a nighly meet up, but there will not be our representative onboard.
