Day 3 - Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
The northern shores of the Dominican Republic were first discovered in the late 15th century when they were christened San Felipe de Puerto Plata or “Port of Silver” after the glistening silver mountain peak shrouded in fog. Puerto Plata draws vacationers from around the world to its numerous tourist attractions, including whimsical waterfalls, stretches of pristine beaches, and spectacular snorkeling sites.
