While the less fortunate are haggling for a room at a busy port or trying to find space on a packed beach, our lady is cutting effortlessly through the sparkling surface of the cobalt Aegean.

The journeys between the islands are short and leave plenty of time for enjoying a deserted beach, lunch at a Greek taverna or partying in the sugar cube clubs of Mykonos town.

With three sun decks, a bar and twelve double cabins, The Aegean Lady is a holiday on her own. Comfortable and solid, she offers all the luxury of larger ships but is more exclusive.

Give yourself a break and come aboard. Order a cocktail from your steward and enjoy it on the stern deck at sunset. With the distant islands black against the hot orange of the evening sun. The gentle hiss of water seething in the ships wake. Paradise? No. The nearest thing? Definately!

Transport to our host hotel, the 5 star Royal Olympic Hotel. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Plaka and the Acropolis.

Morning transfer to port for embarkation on our ship, the Aegean Lady II.

Clothing Optional:
For those who desire this freedom, there will be the option of Nude sunbathing and Swimming. But, only when appropriate and where allowed. Public Nudity is not allowed.

Attire:
The attire on board the Aegean Lady II is very casual. Shorts, and swimsuits are the norm. However, some occasions may require the wearing of long pants; this is when zip-off pants are recommended. Be sure to bring tennis shoes and good walking shoes.

Meals:
Meals are provided as above. Those that are not are easily accessible at the local restaurants on the islands we overnight.

Dietary Restrictions:
All effort will be made to accommodate any dietary restrictions necessary. All dietary restrictions must be submitted in writing to Happy Gay Travel no later than 30 days prior to departure.

Beverages:
Coffee and Tea are provided daily. All other beverages are available for purchase on board the Aegean Lady II.

Hosted Cocktails:
Anyone wishing to host a cocktail hour on board, please contact Happy Gay Travel at least 30 days in advance of departure.

Docking:
The Aegean Lady II docks every evening for your convenience to come and go as you please.

Our Ship - The Aegean Lady II
The Aegean Lady II is a wooden 2-masted schooner with large deck space and manned with an experienced captain and crew. All cabins have air conditioning and a private bathroom. She has a bar, lounge and dining area.

The Aegean Lady II was built in 1999 and all cabins were refitted in 2005. She is also able to provide water skiing, tender use, banana boat, wind surfing, scuba diving equipments (where permitted), and fishing equipment. The Aegean Lady II is a mini cruise ship.

Things You Might Want to Know

What does my package include?
Your cruise will include your cabin, two meals daily (breakfast and either lunch or dinner depending on the itinerary), the Captain's Dinner, 1 night hotel in the Athens area, transfers, port tax and VAT for the cruise.

What about the third meal?
The third meal will be on your own. However we will be docked at that time, and you will be able to enjoy one of the local restaurants.

What will the food be like?
The meals served on board is a traditional Greek and local cuisine, consisting of lamb, beef, fish, shell fish, vegetables and cheese.

What are the cabins like?
The cabins on the yacht are cozy, but comfortable, with private facilities and air conditioning. Do keep in mind you will most likely be spending little time in your cabin.

Is there a pool on the yacht?
No. The Aegean Sea is your pool. Our cruise will include swimming stops at some beautiful and secluded spots along the way, and you will have time to refresh yourself in the clear, warm waters of the Aegean.

Where do the other passengers come from?
Most of our clientele comes from all over the United States and Canada, and ages vary all over the board. But no matter where they are from or there age, our groups always tend to have a great time and make lifelong friends.

Will I be able to use my hair dryer or electric razor?
Yes, but be sure to bring an adaptor and converter set.

Do I have to work on board?
No. Your only obligation is to relax and enjoy the serenity of the Greek Islands. There is a qualified crew on board to take care of all the work.

What do I need to pack?
There is no formal dress code on our cruise, however, we do ask that during dinner please where neat appropriate attire. During the day, t-shirts, shorts, and swimsuits are fine. Shorts are fine for the islands, but keep in mind that long pants are needed to visit any churches or monasteries. Zip-off pants are a suggestion. Make sure to bring sunscreen, camera, comfortable walking shoes, sneakers and, of course, the ever important hat to protect you from the warm Mediterranean Sun. We suggest that you pack your toiletries, medications, travel documents, swim suit and, at least, one change of clothes in your carry-on bag.

Is the cruise clothing optional?
Yes, you may tan or swim in the nude. However, it is not permitted when there are others, outside of our group, in the area. This is the general rule of thumb. We will be trying to stop at secluded coves and beaches, but we cannot guarantee that there will not be other ships or sunbathers in the same location.

Does the crew know that this is a gay cruise?
Yes. The yacht has been chartered for gay cruises for over 10 years with no incident.

Are there safes in the cabins?
There are no safes in the cabins, and, therefore, we suggest your leave your jewelry and valuables at home. If you must, you may give any valuables for safe-keeping to the captain during the cruise.

How much time will I have ashore?
Unlike the big cruise ships, we will only be sailing an average of 4 hours a day. This allows for plenty of time explore. We will also be spending the night in Santorini and 3 nights in Mykonos so that you can enjoy the nightlife.

Will I get seasick?
The Aegean Sea is known to be calm, though there are always the chance of rougher seas. But, sea sickness is usually acquainted with the larger cruise ships, since they cover more open and deeper waters. Our itinerary is shorter and closer to shore. However, if you are prone to sea sickness, please contact your doctor or pharmacist on what medications to bring.

How will I know where to go, what to do on the Islands?
There will be a knowledgeable cruise director on board who can direct you to the various sites. Shore excursions will also be offered, but do depend on minimum participation.

Do I need to convert money?
That is an individual decision, but both Euros and US dollars are accepted on board.

How much should I tip the crew?
How much you wish to leave for the Captain and crew is up to you. But the suggested amount is $10 a day.
