Known as the "Little Three Rivers Town", it sits where the Vils, Wolfach, and Danube rivers meet, roughly 20 kilometers upstream from Passau. The main major international airport to fly from is Munich Airport (MUC), also known as Franz Josef Strauss International Airport.

Continue your vacation with an optional stay in Munich, arriving in time for the traditional Prosecco-Wiesn Gay Monday gathering on September 27, 2027, subject to official event confirmation.

The Prosecco-Wiesn is a long-running LGBTQ+ tradition held on the second Monday of the Munich Oktoberfest at the Fischer-Vroni tent. Over 30 years of queer community gathering, sparkling prosecco alongside traditional Augustiner beer, and local drag performances.

Expect a packed house with drag performances, sparkling Prosecco, and a lively queer crowd. Dress up in dirndl, lederhosen, or your best camp look, but be ready for a busy, energetic space.

Fischer-Vroni serves Augustiner beer and is known for Steckerlfisch, whole fish cooked on sticks over an open grill. Its more intimate scale makes it a good choice for a second visit to the fair, with lunch, drinks and music carrying the afternoon into the evening.

Experience Oktoberfest, Bavarian culture, Munich's gay nightlife, and unforgettable celebrations with fellow LGBTQ+ travelers.
