This elegant Italian Riviera odyssey departs from Barcelona and arrives the next day in Nice, followed by Rome. From there you’ll head to the pastel-peppered coastlines, terraced vineyards and sparkling blue waters of the world-renowned Amalfi Coast before arriving in idyllic Catania on Sicily’s rugged shores. Finally, sail a day to Palma de Mallorca before finally returning to Barcelona.
International Bears Sitges Week 2027 - The biggest bear gathering of the year in Sitges, 30 minutes by a train from Barcelona. Sitges Bears week in September is one of the biggest and most popular Bear festivals in Europe attracting more than 10,000 visitors, bears, admirers, chasers, muscle bears and more. The "Bear Village" may be on the paseo, but the bears are everywhere – Sitges is transformed into a bear heaven for 10+ days.
The town transforms into a furry festival, with bars and clubs packed from afternoon until late.
The beach becomes a meeting point during the day, while themed parties and street events take over the nights. Bears Bar serves as the main hub, but the energy spreads everywhere. Expect full terraces, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of sun.

At night, the stars emerge with the glitz and glamour of The Manor nightclub. This dazzling club tips a nod to Richard Branson, charting his history in the music industry, and then celebrating that heritage by banging out some insane tunes until the small hours. If you want a break from the beat, head out on deck where you can gaze out at the ocean while a billion stars shine. Fuelling up on Food
No luxury ship is complete without food, food, and more food, and the Resilient Lady doesn’t short-change you when it comes to chowing down. There’s over 20 choices of meals whenever you’re peckish – there’s no set menus or enforced meal times here. Whether you want a healthy snack at 6am or a midnight feast, the crew will cater for you.
First up, there’s Razzle Dazzle, where you’ll discover your inner vegan. Or, try the gloriously opulent Pink Algarve, serving Mexican fusion with all the trimmings.
And wait, what’s this? Street food onboard a ship? At the Resilient Lady’s Galley, you’ll find eight different food stalls selling everything from tacos to sushi, burgers to bento boxes and noodles. You may be cruising the Med, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world can’t join in.
Wellness and Zen Time on your Adult Voyage
There’s a concept at Virgin Voyages – Vitamin Sea. There’s nothing quite like the ocean to restore that inner wellness we all crave, so onboard you’ll get the time to re-energise with some state-of-the-art activities in the Crow’s Nest.
You can detox with sunrise or sunset yoga classes, or retox with a few rounds in the boxing ring. The B-Complex gym space gets your heart pumping with some serious cardio, or go for some zen time in Redemption, the Resilient Lady’s onboard spa.

Just keep levelling up with an on-board party at the Manor, the Resilient Lady’s exclusive nightclub. The festival vibe keeps the curious entertained, and the cravers coming back for more. Time for some snoozing, and Virgin Voyages have made sure that the cabins maintain that gloriously indulgent luxury you’ll find all over the Resilient Lady. Tom Dixon’s had a hand here too, designing the RockStar suites with flair and individuality, but with absolutely no compromise on comfort. All of the RockStar suites are on Deck 15, just under Richard’s Rooftop (RockStar VIPs get exclusive access to the club).

Day 1 - Barcelona, Spain
More than just a late-night party town, the capital of Catalonia is full of tranquil, museum-lined mornings and afternoons sipping cava with gorgeous views of the Med. With its laid-back attitude, fresh-from-the-sea cuisine, and thriving art scene, Barcelona is the envy of every other Mediterranean city. No other stop on the Mediterranean oozes culture like Barcelona. Thanks to the famous Antoni Gaudí’s avant-garde architecture and influence, Barcelona boasts nine UNESCO World Heritage sites for visitors to marvel at. The Catalonian capital attracts bohemians, nomads and separatists seeking independence.
Day 2 - Nice (Villefranche), France
Nice cruise take you to the gorgeous southern coast of France. When your ship pulls into the port of Villefranche (the gateway port for Nice), you’ll be right in the middle of this beloved part of the European coastline known as the French Riviera. Travelers on Villefranche cruise will get the opportunity to head into Nice or head on an excursion to the French cities and towns of Cannes, Eze, St. Paul de Vence, or even the principality of Monaco. However you choose to spend your day in port while visiting on a Mediterranean cruise, you’re sure to be wowed by the culture and beauty of the French Riviera.
Day 3 - Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
With an incomparable history of countless empires and kingdoms, Civitavecchia is the entryway to the Eternal’s city's most beloved sights and landmarks – from the Colosseum to Vatican City and everything in between. While we dock at the port town of Civitavecchia – Rome, and all of its mystical glory, is only a brief 40- minute train commute or hour and a half drive from the pier, you’ll have plenty of time to explore as much as you possibly can with your time here.
See all of the sights that have become synonymous with Rome. Stand in the mist of the Trevi Fountain, walk across the Roman Forum, bear witness to the Colosseum, climb the Spanish Steps, tour Vatican City and step foot in St. Peter’s Basilica and feel your jaw drop as you lay your eyes on Michaelangelo’s Sistine Chapel.
Day 4 - Amalfi Coast (Salerno), Italy
The Amalfi Coast is one of the jewels of Italy’s long, boot-shaped coastline. Located on the southwest side of the country, the Amalfi Coast is nestled against the teal blue of the Atlantic Ocean and is a favorite destination for Italy cruise passengers. The region is home to mesmerizing hilltop towns with colorful buildings and relaxing beaches with unforgettable views.
On an Amalfi Coast cruise, you’ll dock in Salerno, the largest city along the coast. Spend your time in port visiting the top attractions of this beautiful coastline, strolling through the picturesque streets, and savoring local delicacies.
Day 5 - Catania, Sicily (Italy)
From churches and castles to ancient Roman amphitheaters, Catania is home to some of Sicily’s most stunning architecture. Your first stop should be the Piazza del Duomo, Catania’s central square and the site of buildings like the Palazzo degli Elefanti, the baroque Palazzo Biscari, and most notably, the impressive Cattedrale di Sant’Agata. Catania isn’t solely defined by its man-made wonders, but also its natural beauties. The city sits right at the foot of the 11,000-foot active volcano, and several hiking trails wind to the top for those intrepid enough to brave the mountain.
Day 6 - Fun Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 7 - Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Feel the bliss only a secluded Balearic island can offer, biking through lovely villages or visiting a family-owned winery. Hidden coves, hilltop villages and limestone mountains make the island of Mallorca an irresistible stop in the Mediterranean. Palma de Mallorca (Palma for short) rose from instability — switching between Roman, Byzantine, and Moor rule — and blossomed into an oasis. Today, expats and entrepreneurs populate Palma, living la vida loca with the highest standard of living in Spain.
Day 8 - Barcelona, Spain
On the northeast coast of Spain, overlooking the Mediterranean, Barcelona is a vibrant port city, packed with centuries of iconic art and architecture—Gaudí and Picasso both called it home—and lined with sunny white-sand beaches. Explore the Catalan capital's tourist attractions and historic neighborhoods, Modernisme and world-renowned art museums, galleries and local crafts shops—some of which are centuries old and stock traditional Catalan wares. After you see the sights, there are lively tapas bars around every corner where you can stop for a drink, a café amb llet (Catalan for espresso with steamed milk) or a snack, no matter the hour.
