Day 1 - Lisbon (Cascais), Portugal
Visit Lisbon on an MSC Mediterranean cruise and explore one of the world’s most ancient cities and the second oldest European capital after Athens. It’s yet to go global and its white-domed cathedrals and cobbled alleyways make it quintessentially Portuguese. As the only capital city on the Atlantic coast, Lisbon is also remarkably inexpensive: food, drink and entertainment all offer exceptional value for money.
Day 2 - A Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 3 - Alicante, Spain
Alicante, located in the Costa Blanca, is one of the most beautiful cities of the Spanish East Coast. During your Mediterranean cruise you will discover a vibrant city connected to the sea and rich in history and architecture. From the Santa Barbara fortress, the main castle of the city, to parks and boulevards, such as the Explanada de España where you can enjoy Alicante’s breathing fresh air and relax in cozy bars and terrace cafés.
Day 4 - Mahon, Menorca (Spain)
Mahon and Menorca island are one of the most beautiful places you will discover during your Mediterranean cruise.
With pristine beaches and scenes that seem to be taken from a holiday postcard, Menorca is the perfect destination to relax and enjoy the exceptional natural beauty of the island, declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993. But beyond the turquoise waters and breathtaking landscapes, Menorca is a sophisticated island with a unique history legacy that reflects the Spanish culture and the British influence – the island was a British possession for more than 70 years.
Day 5 - Olbia, Sardinia (Italy)
Wedged into the coastline, Olbia is the gateway to the gorgeous and glamour beaches of the Emerald Coast and Gallura, both located in Sardinia, one of the most naturally beautiful islands you can dock at during an MSC Mediterranean cruise: a magical place you cannot miss to visit! Olbia has numerous bars and restaurants, usually abuzz with tourists.
Day 6 - Genoa (Portofino), Italy
The port city of Genoa, an MSC Mediterranean Cruises destination, is the gateway to Italy’s glamorous riviera. Wander down its winding medieval alleyways, take in historical, Piazza Matteotti, and admire a magnificent cluster of 16th and 17th-century buildings. Genoa’s heritage as a naval power is evident in La Lanterna, a historical lighthouse built in 1543. Beyond the city, romantic towns can be found nestled along the coastline, including the gelati-coloured Portofino.
Day 7 - Marseille (Provence), France
On the spectacular coastline of the French Riviera lies Marseille, an MSC Mediterranean Cruises destination. This atmospheric port city is known for its unique mix of grit and glamour, seen in its labyrinth of streets and historical architecture. Only a few miles from Marseille’s charismatic cafes and bustling Vieux Port, stunning cities are to be found. Visit Aix-en-Provence, birthplace of Cézanne, or take in the ancient beauty of Avignon.
Day 8 - A Day at Sea!
While at sea, take the time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, taste the delicacies or explore the venues on-board, until we arrive at the next amazing destination.
Day 9 - Malaga (Granada), Spain
Málaga is a vibrant coastal city in Spain’s popular Costa del Sol. This thriving port offers a wide range of things to see including the ancient hilltop citadels — Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. Stroll along the modern waterfront or wander the cobbled streets of the old quarter. Málaga is also a gateway to glorious Granada and its dazzling Arab architecture.
Day 10 - Cadiz (Seville), Spain
Cádiz, an old Spanish settlement in Andalusia, is characterised by a multitude of historical watchtowers. The port city rewards its visitors with excellent beaches, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ancient cathedrals, and a fascinating old town. This MSC Mediterranean Cruises destination is a gateway to spectacular Seville. Further afield, discover the dazzling White Villages of Andalusia high up in the hills.
