Exotic Southern Caribbean Cruise 2012
March 1724, 2012
Celebrity Summit
There's another side to an Atlantis Caribbean Cruise to discover on our all-new Southern Caribbean cruise. An all-gay cruise designed for exploration, enrichment, and camaraderie where exotic islands and original entertainment are the stars. In seven magical nights onboard the reborn Celebrity Summit you'll experience our most pampering and relaxing cruise of the year.
Atlantis' spring Caribbean cruise has always been our most laid-back vacation with a focus on beautiful islands, great entertainment, and good friends. In 2012, we're taking it to a whole new level, as we sail the newly re-vitalized Celebrity Summit for an unforgettable cruise from San Juan to the best of the Southern Caribbean. Our stellar new itinerary features our first-ever calls on Barbados & Grenada, along with visits to seductive St. Barts and ravishing Dominica.
Oh, Those Beaches
When you sail from San Juan, you'll see more of the real Caribbean, where unspoiled beaches offer the gateway to unexpected adventures. Our cruise starts with a relaxing day at sea, followed by our first visit to the island of Grenada, a volcanic treasure of spice plantations and gentle breezes. The spectacularly famous powder-white sands of Barbados await next where British ambience meets Caribbean charm. Lush landscapes of waterfalls and hot springs, along with world-class scuba diving are the highlights of our day in Dominica, one of the most rugged islands you'll ever explore. Finally, we arrive in sophisticated St. Barts for a long stay that lets you explore the islands fantastic beaches, tantalizing dining, and easygoing nightlife.
Connect, Relax, Enjoy
When you return after a long day of exploring, Celebrity and Atlantis will take care of you in grand style. Take a dip in the outdoor pool, sooth yourself in the AquaSpa pool, or soak in one of our many hot tubs. Get a relaxing massage from our spa pros, or work out in our spectacular gym. Meet friends at the new Martini bar, or celebrate sunset with a sparkling glass of Champagne. And when it's time for dinner there's more options than ever from our friendly and delicious main restaurant to magnificent speciality dining venues including the innovative Qsine, and classic SS Normandie restaurants.
New Stars and Familiar Faces
We'll feature not only the best of Atlantis classic entertainers like Miss Richfield 1981 and other signature acts, plus a fresh new set of stars throughout the ship. The two-story main theater hosts a mix of singers, comedians, and specialty acts plus Celebrity's spectacular production shows. You'll find terrific new cabaret acts & piano bar entertainers in our many bars and lounges throughout the ship. There's no better way to sample the best performers in the gay entertainment universe!
And Just Enough of a Party
We'll strike the perfect balance between festive and friendly with Atlantis parties designed to cater to a wide variety of tastes. Our t-dances bring you three outrageous themed afternoons of dancing into the sunset on the top deck of the Summit. Most nights we'll turn those same decks into a sophisticated nightclub featuring three of the world's best DJs along with fantastic light and laser shows. And if the party's not your thing, there's always plenty around the ship, from live music, our own piano bar, and of course a lively casino.
The Perfect Caribbean Escape
We invite you to head south, way south, this winter for the perfect blend of inviting beaches, original sightseeing, and friendly camaraderie with our newest all-gay Exotic Southern Caribbean Cruise. There's so much more to see and enjoy then ever before, on our friendliest and most laid-back cruise of the winter season.

An Old Favourite. Newly Reborn.
We've always loved the Millennium-class ships and they continue to be a favorite for Atlantis guests looking for the perfect mix of sophistication and friendliness. They're the perfect ship to come home to after a day of exploring.
From the blue-accented hull to magnificent teak decks, the newly reborn Summit will stun you the moment you step onboard. The three-story atrium welcomes you with the ambience of a contemporary grand hotel. And it's easy to relax with new friends in Summit's fabulous new lounges. And that's just the beginning...
In January 2012, Summit will sail with a new sense of syle and excitement. The third member of Millennium Class to be "Solsticized," she'll undergo a dazzling revitalization. She'll be upgraded with AquaClass® accommodations including the Mediterranean-themed Blu specialty restaurant. She'll get the hip Celebrity iLounge featuring the iLearn enrichment series and the first Apple® Reseller at Sea. And nothing compares to the unique, memorable dining at the cutting edge Qsine restaurant. Finish with a chilled Lychee Martini at the ultra-cool, ice-topped Martini Bar. There's also more staterooms, more verandas, an expanded art collection, and completely new décor throughout.
Special Places to Meet
Summit features uniquely designed lounges and bars perfect for meeting friends or striking up conversation with friendly strangers. The social centerpiece is our Martini Bar with an ice-covered bar and huge range of specialty libations. CellarMasters wine bar features an innovative enomatic system with some of the world's finest wines on tap. The intimate Michael's Club is the perfect intimate retreat for enjoying the best in Atlantis cabaret talent. And of course there's always action in the sophisticated Casino.
Fresh Dining from Modern to Classical
The dramatic two-story main restaurant offers soaring views of the ocean and Celebrity's award-winning fresh cuisine. Attentive yet unobtrusive service from European-trained staff makes every meal a refreshing event. As on all Atlantis cruises, we feature open seating and a casual atmosphere with no dress code. There's never an assigned table or dining time, allowing you to enjoy meals at your leisure with friends old and new.
Summit's new specialty restaurants set the stage for dramatic dining experiences ranging from the formal to whimsical. The new Qsine restaurant will certainly challenge every sense, from it's innovative iPad-based menu to the towers of culinary invention gracing every table. Blu offers Mediterranean influenced fare in a light modern setting, with complimentary service for our Aqua-class guests.
For the ultimate special occasion, make a date in the SS Normandie restaurant, replicated from one of the world's greatest ocean liners dining rooms with an open kitchen, dine-in wine cellar, and elaborate tableside presentations. Their gastronomic menus stand up as some of the the finest meals ever presented at sea.
For a more casual meal, the Ocean view café & bar is open virtually all the time (including Atlantis' famous late-night selections), featuring a variety of choices in a breezy open setting. There's even an outdoor poolside grill for lunch and snacks throughout the day. Sip a coffee in Café al Bacio, or a healthy snack in the AquaSpa café. Relax with friends in Bistro on Five. All of it is ready for Atlantis, and designed for the way you like to dine.
Relax, Rejuvenate, & Rejoice
Two sparkling outdoor pools invite you for a dip after a long day of exploring. Or relax at our indoor pool and whirlpools. Unwind with a yoga session or a run on the beautiful teak decks. The fully equipped fitness center offers everything from spinning to aerobics classes along with a complete weight-training center. Just leave some time to enjoy the sensory heaven of the world-famous AquaSpa, indulging in the hydrotherapy pool or luscious steam garden.
Let Us Entertain You
We have more venues to entertain you on Summit than you'd ever imagine. The gorgeous two-story theater is perfect for a wide range of shows.
Our seven bars and lounges featuring live music and comedy shows. If you're feeling lucky, have a go in the world-class casino. We'll feature first-run movies and the best of the recent gay cinema in the onboard movie theater. And the sophisticated intimacy of Michael's Club creates the perfect setting for the ultimate Atlantis piano bar.

San Juan, Puerto Rico San Juan combines the culture of a historic city with the lifestyle of a modern metropolis. Visit Old San Juan's beautifully restored historic sites, go shopping or stop to enjoy authentic sangria and tapas. One of the gayest destinations in the Caribbean, San Juan features two gay beaches, a number of gay-popular restaurants and several gay bars. Beyond San Juan, there are mountains, caves, coral reefs, white-sand beaches and a massive rain forest that supplies fresh water to the island.
St. George's, Grenada From the moment you set your eyes on St. George's, you'll see why it's considered one of the most picturesque ports in the Caribbean. Lush vegetation, mountainous terrain and colorful colonial architecture make up the landscape. And if the sights don't wow your senses, the aroma will. Grenada is also filled with spice trees and is a leading source of many different spices, including nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and cocoa.
Bridgetown, Barbados Barbados gained independence from the British in 1966, but their influence is still apparent on this stunning Caribbean island. English is the native tongue, Cricket is the national sport and tea is still a favorite drink. It is no wonder that this piece of paradise was once called "Little England."
Roseau, Dominica Roseau is a charming costal village of Dominica and your gateway to one of the Caribbean's most untouched islands. With its lush forested mountains, countless rivers, and black-sand beaches, you'll see why it's called the "Nature Island of the Caribbean." If you've ever wondered what an authentic Caribbean island was like, this is it.
Gustavia, St.Barths Quaint as a dollhouse, St Barts' capital, Gustavia, is an appealing blend of red-roofed villas and heavy-set grey-stone buildings that hug a deep, U-shaped harbour where yacht-watching over a glass of wine at a waterfront café ranks as the unofficial town pastime. A close runner-up for that title is shopping, as dozens of duty-free boutiques line the main drag, Rue de la République. The town's historical sights can all be seen in under an hour.

Martini Bar Inspired by the cool grace of ice, snow and water, the Martini Bar boasts an ambiance unlike any other, exemplified by its sleek, frosted main bar. The bartenders always put on a good show with their own personal spin on mixing and serving.
