After a week of travelling through the historical Athens with its ruins and monuments, of walking the cobblestone streets and laying by the outstanding beaches of Santorini, have the summer experience of a lifetime with an extended weekend at the XLSIOR 2017 festival, the summer's hottest gay festival with world class DJs and the most amazing music and dancing. Day 1 - Arrive in Athens, Greece, Monday, August 21, 2017 Welcome to Greece! Upon arrival at Athens, Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, you will be greeted by an OUTstanding Travel Representative, who will assist you with your luggage and escort you to the Titania Hotel in Athens. Check-in to this beautiful hotel in downtown Athens. The birthplace of Western civilization, once hailed as the Paris of the Mediterranean, is now a bustling modern city, a colorful tapestry of Eastern and Western influences, full of outdoor cafes, pedestrian streets, parks and gardens, street bazaars, dilapidated mansions and ancient ruins.

As the sun sets in this beautiful city, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant while getting to know your fellow travellers, making new friends from all over the world.
Afterwards we suggest spending the evening at the Plaka, the old historical neighborhood of Athens, where you'll find typical Greek taverns.

Day 2 - Athens, Greece, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 After the delicious breakfast, we will be met by the guide at our hotel for a walking tour of Athens.
The tour begins with the House of the Greek Parliament and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier to watch the changing of the guards. Continue towards the National Gardens and the beautiful neoclassical Zappeion Hall, where we will view both Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. From there we will walk towards the Acropolis through the beautiful pedestrian walkway of Dionysiou Areopagitou, passing by the Melina statue on the way.
Enter the Acropolis from the south slope to avoid the crowds and visit the Dionysus Sanctuary and Theatre, built in the 5th century BC. As you begin to ascend the sacred hill, enjoy a breathtaking view of the city below. The guide will give us a detailed explanation of the glorious monuments of the Acropolis, such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaia, the Nike Temple, the Agrippa Monument and surrounding monuments, such as the Herodes Atticus Odeon, the Ancient Agora, the National Observatory, and the Philopappos.

In the afternoon, we will meet up with our OUTstanding Travel representative and party through the vibrant gay scene of Athens.

Day 3 - Santorini, Greece, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 We will eat a delicious breakfast and then check out of the hotel, setting our sights on the serene and beautiful Greek isles. Transfer to the port of Athens for our hydrofoil ferry ride to Santorini.
Upon arrival in Santorini, we will make our way to the San Antonio Suites Hotel, where we will spend two nights in this wonderful setting, with its elegant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Santorini is a picture perfect island with amazing sunsets, wonderful volcanic views that will captivate you, and unsurpassed natural beauty attracting travelers from all over the world. In the evening you can have dinner in one of the caldera-rimmed restaurants while watching the famous Santorini sunset, a unique once in a lifetime experience.
After settling in at the hotel, we will venture out into the vineyards of Santorini for a wine tour of the Santorini countryside, visit the most distinctive wineries on the island.
Learn the island’s history through its wine-making as you explore three traditional wineries, all acclaimed by international experts. Taste the major wine styles of Santorini such as Assyrtiko, Nykteri, Vinsanto, accompanied by local delicacies, such as cheese, salami and olives.

Day 4 - Santorini, Greece, Thursday, August 24, 2017 After enjoying a delicious Greek breakfast at the hotel, we will head on down to the water and explore Santorini the best way possible: from the sea.
This private catamaran ride will depart from Vlihada Marina and sail the Caldera, past the Ancient City of Akrotiri to the Red and White Beaches. We will visit the hot springs and towering volcanic cliffs. We will pass Indian Head Mountain and the Venetian Lighthouse into the picturesque Caldera. Enjoy a visit to a private bay for swimming and snorkeling and afterwards dine on a delicious BBQ lunch. After lunch, sail past the Volcanic Islands and Aspronisi before heading back to Vlihada Marina.
Santorini is the place to be when it comes to relaxation in a soothing environment. After this day of adventure, wind down in your room, taking in the spectacular views. Take a dip in the pool and let yourself rejuvenate and relax.

Day 5 - Mykonos, Greece, Friday, August 25, 2017 After breakfast we will hop on another hydrofoil ferry and head on over to our next island stop: Mykonos. This magnificent isle, known as “The Island of the Winds,” is known for its vibrant nightlife and for being a gay-friendly destination with many establishments catering to the LGBT community.
Upon arrival in Mykonos we will head on down to the Kosmoplaz Beach Resort Hotel, where we will spend five nights in a wonderful setting with an elegant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Once we are all settled in our rooms we will begin our day touring this fabulous island with our Outstanding travel representative. We will explore Mykonos and visit some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape. We will see fishermen at work, small private chapels, and houses built in typical Cycladic style. Stop in the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera. Just 6km from town, enjoy some free time to take a stroll around the traditional square. We will visit the monastery of Ano Mera and learn about its history. Next stop is Kalafatis beach where there is time to chill out before going back to begin the walking tour.
As we begin touring the town walking the small and narrow streets, we will have various opportunities to take breathtaking photographs of the Labyrinth and beautiful snow-white houses... OPA to Mykonos. See the famous windmills and be on the lookout for Petros, The Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos.
We will finish our walking tour at Little Venice, where we will have the chance to explore this quaint section of this lovely island.
Afterwards enjoy some leisure time to relax at the hotel pool or get acquainted with the town reflecting Greek authenticity combined with upscale elegance. Have a nice dinner and a couple of cocktails in one of the lively bars that the town has to offer.
This is our first day and night in Mykonos, and we have to take advantage of this gay-friendly island with its fabulous nightlife and bars. And don’t forget about the acclaimed XLSIOR Festival, the summer's hottest international gay festival that takes place on this spectacular island of Mykonos. The incredible line up of talent and world famous DJs will have you dancing all day and night. So head on over to the party of the night, meet new people, and dance the night away.

Day 6 - Mykonos, Greece, Saturday, August 26, 2017 Leisure day to enjoy the sea and the sun or spend your time as you wish. Mykonos is known as one of the Islands with the best beaches, where you can soak up the sun and feel free to enjoy yourself. In the upbeat beach bars you can mingle with fabulous people from around the world.
The most famous beaches are Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach. These two Mykonos beach hotspots both have beachside clubs where you can dance the day away while making new friends. You may like to have a meal in one of the beach bars or perhaps go back to Mykonos downtown for a stroll and a cold frappe.
XLSIOR boasts parties both day and night, so stop by the day's party and have some midday fun or head over to one of the island's serenely beautiful beaches and spend the day under the Mediterranean sun and in the sparkling waters.
Have a nice dinner and a couple of cocktails in one of the lively bars that the town has to offer before making your way to the next party, and as the sun sets and the night gets darker the music only gets louder and the party only gets wilder.

Day 7 - Mykonos, Greece, Sunday, August 27, 2017
Start sunday right and enjoy breakfast at your hotel followed by a quick dip in the pool and a stroll by the beautiful waters. Find your way to one of the island's amazing beaches, such as Kaparis beach or Elia beach. Relax the day away and just glance upon the gleaming waters until sunset and then head on back for the night's party, where the music never gets old and the dancing only gets crazier.

Day 8 - Mykonos / Delos Tour, Monday, August 28, 2017 After a delicious breakfast at the hotel get ready for a morning tour of one of the most important mythological, historical and archeological sites in Greece.
You will be taken to the old port and after arrive at Delos after enjoying a thirty minute boat ride. This island is believed to be the renowned birthplace of Artemis and Apollo and also a trading and religious center of antiquity. Our guide will introduce us to this magnificent open air museum while explain every single detail and answering all of our questions.
The cruise ends mid afternoon as you return back to Mykonos and have the rest of the day at your leisure. Wander around the town of Mykonos for some shopping in one of its many designer shops and boutiques, or relax at one of the lovely waterfront cafes.
At night, hit up the XLSIOR beachfront party and dance to your heart's desire and enjoy the music all night long.

Day 9 - Mykonos, Greece, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 Your last full day in Mykonos, so you better make it worth it.
Don’t miss the party happening under the blazing sun and next to the shining waters. The music and dancing will transport you, making you never want to leave this dance party like no other, and the last one of the festival in the light of day.
Take a last trip to the amazing beaches and to the quaint seaside shops, restaurants, and cafes, or just spend the entire day partying, getting in as much as you can.
Before we say goodbye and before the final party of XLSIOR 2017, we will enjoy a Farewell dinner together, reliving all the amazing shared experiences of the past week.
At night experience the greatest party of the year as Xlsior 2017 comes to a close with the ultimate dance party with the best DJs, most amazing music, the craziest dancing, and the hottest guys from all around the world, in one place, on one dance floor.

Day 10 - Departure, Tuesday, August 30, 2017 Following breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Mykonos Airport for your flight back home taking with you everlasting memories of Mykonos, and a great tan too!
