Day 2 - Sunday, December 27, 2027
Xochimilco & Frida
This morning, we head south for one of Mexico City’s most distinctive cultural landscapes: the ancient chinampas of Xochimilco.

With our private guide, we’ll glide the canals by traditional trajinera to a working chinampa—one of the city’s last surviving "floating gardens" - and enjoy a relaxed lunch rooted in this living agricultural tradition.

Afterward, we step into the vibrant, deeply personal world of Frida Kahlo with a visit to Casa Azul - her beloved home and studio—an unforgettable window into her life, style, and creative spirit.

Day 3 - Monday, December 28, 2027
Murals & Centro Histórico
This morning, we’ll go behind the scenes for a private, early-hours visit to the Diego Rivera Mural Museum - a chance to stand up close with Rivera’s legendary masterpiece, Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in the Alameda Central, and unpack the symbolism and stories woven through it with a local expert.

From there, we keep the energy flowing into the Centro Histórico for a curated foodie walk—tasting our way through classic flavors and hidden favorites while discovering the streets, squares, and architecture that give Mexico City its unmistakable soul.

Teotihuacan Mexico gay tour

Day 4 - Tuesday, December 29, 2027
Teotihuacan & San Miguel
This morning we step into Mexico’s ancient past with a guided visit to Teotihuacan — a once-mighty ceremonial city where the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon rise dramatically above the Valley of Mexico, and the Avenue of the Dead stretches through a landscape of temples, murals, and enduring mystery.

For those who want to take it to the next level, there’s an optional sunrise hot-air balloon experience — floating above the pyramids as the day breaks over the valley.

Afterward, we leave the capital behind and journey into the highlands to San Miguel de Allende, where the pace softens and the next chapter of our New Year’s story begins.

San Miguel & Wine Country
This morning, we take our time getting to know San Miguel de Allende — wandering its UNESCO-recognized historic center with a private guide. Think Spanish Colonial and Mexican Baroque architecture, colorful facades, leafy plazas, church bells, art galleries, cafés, gardens, and that unmistakable bohemian spirit that makes San Miguel so magnetic.

Later, we head out to a top local vineyard for a behind-the-scenes visit and a gourmet four-course lunch paired with premium wines—hosted with a private sommelier and time in the cellar to learn how it all comes together.

Guanajuato, Mexico gay tour

Day 6 - Thursday, December 31, 2027
Guanajuato and New Year’s Eve

This morning, we slip away to the vibrant hill city of Guanajuato, a UNESCO-listed gem tucked into a narrow valley.

With our private guide, we’ll begin at El Pípila for sweeping views over hillsides of colorful homes, then wander the historic center—leafy plazas, grand churches, and a maze of cobblestone streets (and old subterranean tunnels) that give the city its irresistible character.

We’ll also take in favorites like Guanajuato’s grand university, the striking Juárez Theatre, and the house-museum of Mexican muralist Diego Rivera.

Later, San Miguel welcomes us back with that New Year’s Eve buzz - cobblestone streets glowing, music drifting through courtyards, and the city slowly turning festive.

Spend the afternoon your way: a little shopping, a long lunch, maybe a rooftop cocktail as everything starts to sparkle.

As evening falls, we’ll gather for a Source-style celebration—beautifully set, full of flavor, and sprinkled with a few surprises.

And at midnight, the countdown draws everyone to the historic center as fireworks light up the sky to welcome the year ahead.

Enjoy a full day to relax, shop, and enjoy everything San Miguel has to offer — wander galleries, visit artisan shops, linger over a long lunch, take a spa treatment, or simply savor the light and architecture of the Jardín.

It’s a day for gentle pleasures and discovery at your own pace.

Day 8 - Saturday, January 02, 2027
Return Home or Extend to Puerto Vallarta
This morning, we say hasta luego to San Miguel de Allende as guests depart for the airport or continue on to their next adventure.

Because travelers may be departing from different airports (or extending their stay), departure transfers are arranged individually, and we’ll coordinate private transfers tailored to your flight plans.

Want to keep the celebration going? We can also help you extend the trip in Puerto Vallarta — one of Mexico’s most festive, LGBTQ-welcoming beach destinations - perfect for a few extra days of rest, recharge, and fun by the sea.
