Day 1 & Day 15 - Barcelona, Spain
Formerly a sleepy Spanish city, gay friendly Barcelona has recently been reborn as an eclectic fusion of the modern and medieval. Seek inspiration from the creations of its modernist architect, Antonio Gaudi, or the Picasso Museum. Or, take in the breathtaking cathedrals in the Gothic Quarter.

Day 2 - Valencia, Spain
Best known as the birthplace of paella, Valencia has steadily moved onto the radar of savvy travelers. It's a vibrant, friendly, mildly chaotic place with two outstanding fine-arts museums, an accessible old quarter, Europe's newest cultural and scientific complex – and one of Spain's most exciting nightlife scenes. Whole sections of the old city, for example the Carmen Quarter, have been extensively renovated.

Day 3 - Ibiza, Spain
Ibiza is an island in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of Spain, is, too often, synonymous with world-famous mega-clubs, which are the summertime meccas for so many celebrities and DJs. However, Ibiza is also one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful islands (Ibiza Town is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with mystical islets and hidden coves that beg to be explored. Few places can boast such an international mix as the Balearic Island of Ibiza. Partying aside, there are plenty of attractions including Dalt Villa, a World Heritage Site, shops and tapas bars.

Day 5 - Provence (Marseilles), France
Stroll the spirit and charm of France's oldest city - along La Canabiere toward the Vieux Port where ships have docked for more than 26 centuries, or in Cours Julien, a large pedestrian square lined with some of Marseille's trendiest cafés and theatres. And of course, no trip to Marseille would be complete without tasting its most renowned dish - bouillabaisse.

Day 6 - Nice (Villefranche), France
In the middle of the Cote d’Azur, Nice has long attracted writers and artists. This jewel of the French Riviera is home to some of the world's most luxurious hotels and terraced cafes. Stroll the ultra-famous Promenade des Anglais or see masterpieces by Matisse, Renoir, Monet and Chagall in one of Nice's many museums.

Day 7 - Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy
La Spezia, which lies between Genoa and Pisa, and is just minutes to the east of Cinque Terre-the five fishing ports that enjoy National Park status-is home to the Palio del Golfo, an annual boat race that sees the Gulf of Poets; 13 historic villages face off against one another in celebration of the annual Festa del Mare. The town also offers fantastic shopping opportunities, as well as plenty of trattorias to enjoy local, Ligurian cuisine.

Day 8 - Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Civitavecchia was settled in 108 A.D. by the Emperor Trajan and has since served faithfully as a gateway to the capital of the Empire - Rome. Once the center of the Ancient World from which emperors ruled over nearly all of western civilization, Rome is still a cultural mecca. Stroll the ancient halls of the Colosseum or gaze upon the ceilings of the Sistine Chapel.

Day 9 - Naples, Italy
Framed by Mount Vesuvius along a dramatic skyline, the 2,800 year-old port city of Naples is chock full of historical sites, churches, and museums that make it an incredible place for you to explore. And in the region where pizza was first invented, you know the food is going to be incredible. Just 35 miles down the coast, Salerno offers you a rich history but also boasts a marvelous collection of parks, natural wonders, and unique vantage points to take in the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Two cities. One incredible stretch of Italian coastline.

Day 11 - Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy
The beautiful Italian seaport of Livorno is the gateway to Florence, Pisa and Tuscany's vast wine country. Pisa is most noted for its famous marble bell tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has tilted 14 feet since 1370. For Renaissance treasures, nowhere compares to Florence. The Uffizi is home to Michelangelo’s David, Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Leonardo’s Annunciation. In addition, you’ll find architectural icons like Brunelleschi’s Duomo.

Day 12 - Monte Carlo, Monaco
Stroll under the palms of the fabled waterfront promenade. When you’ve taken your fill of the continental panache on display, the animated Forville food market is a great place to browse.

Day 13 - Cannes, France
Cannes and the tiny principality of Monaco personify the charismatic French Riviera, with its long boardwalks, the massive yachts anchored in the harbor, and its warm, sunny plazas. It's no wonder these two cities draw some of the world’s elite travelers every summer. Stroll under the palms of the fabled waterfront promenade. The animated Forville food market and narrow alleyways of Le Suquet are great places to browse, and Monaco is nearby to explore.

Day 14 - Palma de Mallorca, Spain
The best views are reserved by those who arrive by sea. The white battlements of Bellver Castle sit on a hill overlooking the towering cathedral that took 400 years to build. This island enclave is often described as a mini-Barcelona, with a Gothic feel that has overtaken centuries of Roman and Moorish culture. Visit El Baluard, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, which was built on the site of the remnants of the 16th century Bastio de Sant Pere, or shop for bargain pearls at the city's many jewelers.
