What is the local currency?
The Jordanian Dinar (JOD) is the state currency for the Kingdom of Jordan. Division of the dinar is into units of 10 dirhams, 100 qirshes, and 1000 fulus. The nation’s banknotes have denominations up to 50 dinars.
Credit cards are widely accepted at most major shopping and dining establishments, however it is suggested to have at least a small amount of local currency for incidentals and smaller souvenir shops. Most major currencies can be exchanged for local currency or you may also withdraw the local currency from an ATM.

The program is informal throughout, no jackets, ties or gowns required. Keep in mind that on some occasions you may need to have your knees and shoulders covered.
