Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel along the Chao Phraya River, an iconic setting that places us at the heart of the city’s daily rhythm.

This morning, we travel north from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, once the grand capital of the Siamese Kingdom and today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, centuries-old temples rise from grassy plains and along riverbanks, their weathered stone and towering prang telling stories of power, trade, and devotion.
We explore the ruins at an easy pace—wandering among lotus ponds, Buddha images wrapped in saffron cloth, and temple complexes slowly reclaimed by time. The scale is impressive, but the feeling is surprisingly calm, offering space to reflect on how deeply history still lives here.
After time to explore and enjoy lunch nearby, we return to Bangkok in the afternoon.
