Wild Alaska All-Lesbian Adventure Cruise 2027
May 29 June 05, 2027
National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions Quest
We are partnering with National Geographic and Lindblad once again to bring you the best of Alaska! Indulge your inner explorer on this 8-day/7-night expedition along the untamed coastal landscapes of Alaska’s Inside Passage. This pristine wilderness is home to a rich Tlingit culture, an enduring frontier spirit, and a panoply of wildlife—from high-flying eagles and tail-fluking whales to bears feeding on berries along the shore. Hike through forests of towering trees and kayak in glacier-carved fjords.
On this trip, we explore this pristine wilderness aboard our 100-passenger, nimble National Geographic Quest expedition ship and set out in zodiacs for up-close encounters with glaciers and all sorts of birds and critters.
Though you may have seen Alaska’s glaciers and wildlife from a distance on a large cruise, you will feel like you are in the middle of a National Geographic show on this smaller vessel, experiencing it up close. You’ll be watching icebergs float by and maybe hear the thunderous roar as well as feel the ripples of waves, after a glacial calving.
But there’s more! Onboard naturalists will educate us about wildlife as we watch for whales, dolphins, and killer whales. Kayak or paddleboard along the rugged coast, search for bears and a variety of birds (including the bald eagle); hike through forests; capture beautiful orange, pink and purple lighting (and maybe a rainbow!) reflecting on the water and in the skies; breathe in the fresh, clean air and experience the peacefulness, privilege and gratitude of being surrounded by all of this precious wilderness with your Olivia community. A National Geographic/Lindblad-trained photographer will be on board to help you capture these shots with your phone, camera or more professional camera!

In the early afternoon embark National Geographic Quest in time for cocktails and an introduction of the vessel staff and crew. Arrive by 3:00 p.m. local time.

Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, Alaska Sunday, May 30, 2027
Explore the wild and remote areas of southeast Alaska by special use permit with the Tongass National Forest. Voyage into Tracy or Endicott Arm, both spectacular fjords with waterfalls cascading from glacially carved walls. See the soaring Dawes or South Sawyer Glacier up close and take a cruise in a Zodiac for an unbeatable view among sculpted icebergs. Keep an eye out for harbor seals, harbor porpoises and arctic terns.

Petersburg, Alaska Monday, May 31, 2027
Visit the small, true Alaska fishing town of Petersburg on Mitkof Island, which still retains much of its Norwegian heritage. Explore a unique Southeast Alaska ecosystem, the muskeg, with stunted trees and carnivorous plants. There is an opportunity to stretch your legs with an optional bike ride around town. This evening, enjoy a crab feast.

Frederick Sound and Chatham Strait Tuesday, June 01, 2027
These waters are prime areas for both orca and humpback whales. With luck, guests may observe their fascinating behavior-breaching, tail-slapping and variations on feeding-as you listen to the play-by-play from your expert naturalists. Explore spectacular bays and inlets, following bear trails and salmon streams. Once ashore, you’ll have the opportunity to walk along a quiet forest trail. The still waters are excellent for kayaking, offering another option for up-close exploration.

Icy Strait & the Inian Islands, Alaska Wednesday, June 02, 2027
Explore among the Inian Islands, a busy feeding ground for myriad wildlife species, including Steller sea lions and sea otters. Search for marine mammals in the nutrient-rich waters of Icy Strait and choose the perfect spot around Chichagof Island to hike where sightings of bald eagles are common.

Glacier Bay National Park Thursday, June 03, 2027
Spend a full day exploring the spectacular wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases the dramatic landscapes that define Southeast Alaska—from towering mountains and deep fjords to pristine coastlines and diverse ecosystems. Gain insight on the natural history and geology, while keeping watch for wildlife.

Southeast Alaska’s Islands, Bays and Fjords Friday, June 04, 2027
Today, nature is your guide as you set forth with the flexibility to take advantage of wildlife and weather conditions. You might stop at an isolated beach to take a closer look at tide pools, beachcomb, and hike stunning forest trails. Keep an eye out for old bear tracks worn into the soil as you move from forest to meadow. Sightings of bald eagles are common. If conditions permit, you’ll have the opportunity to do some kayaking, always searching for marine and terrestrial life.

Sitka, Alaska Saturday, June 05, 2027
