Hotel Le Pic Blanc - Premium 3*** Star Hotel
The European Gay Ski Week's Principal Exclusive Hotel

All prices are for bed and breakfast accommodation and are per person for 7 nights unless otherwise indicated

French hotel star grading system is somewhat different to the UK's system and in the UK this hotel with its facilities and levels of service would be considered a good standard 4 star hotel.

The Pic Blanc Hotel is fully privatised for the European Gay Ski Week passholders. The huge covered terrace and the majority of the rooms enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley and the peaks and glaciers of the Romanche mountains. The Pic Blanc is a superb quality hotel in a great location.

Ideally located in the Quartier des Bergers, it is less than 250 meters from the pistes and lifts and the resorts ski / shuttle bus stops right outside the door .

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities and great panoramic views from the unusually spacious bedrooms.

Once inside Hotel Le Pic Blanc you can relax in luxurious surroundings in front of the open log fire in the bar, on the glassed in terrace or on your rooms private balcony. All hotel guests, have free use of the Spa centre which comprises an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis, Saunas and fitness centre. There is also beauty treatments and massage services available.

In addition there are 6 individually sized suites.

All rooms are soundproofed and exceptionally spacious:

Single Occupancy Rooms & the Random Room Mates Booking Facility
Some of the double rooms are available for single occupancy, please be aware early booking is advised if you wish to book a single occupancy room in the Pic Blanc. In addition to this as a more economical alternative, we have the Random Room Mates booking facility specially for the Single Skier.

This facility gives you the ability to stay in our exclusive hotel by booking a single bed in a huge 27 m² superior twin room paying only half the price of the room. We cannot promise that you will get on with your Roomie but, with an optimistic outlook, you may make a new friend and enjoy all the facilities of our principal hotel.

If you do book through our Random Room Mates facility and then one of your friends does decides to join youi on the European Gay Ski Week, you can still change your room and stay with them. All your friend who is coming needs to do, is book through the Random Room Mates offer but when they make thier booking enter in your booking reference in the available box and you will be put in a superior twin room together.

Bed and Breakfast or Half Board
As most of our guests choose to go out to dinner once or twice during the week, rather than offer a 7 night half board option where you have no flexibility, we are offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation with the option of booking dinners just on the nights that you want to eat in the Hotel. The cost of the dinners will be €23.00 per person per night and you will need to tell the hotel by 18.00 on the day that you want to eat in.

There is a nightly per person visitors tax payable locally. The rooms are available from 2pm on the arrival day and must be left by 10.00am on the departure day.

Royal Ours Blanc 3*** Star Hotel

These rates are for full board and include Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon tea and Dinner and are per person for 7 nights.

This modern luxury hotel is situated in the centre of the village on the Avenue de Jeux and could not be more conveniently located. The majority of the resorts facilities, are within a couple of minutes walk and it is less than 300 metres from the nearest lift and the ski bus stops right outside the door giving you access to all the gateways of the ski domain.

Once inside the Royal Ours Blanc there are 46 guest rooms and suites, which are of an excellent standard and decorated in a modern contempory style. Most have balconies which offer an awe inspiring panorama, with views across the Oisans Mountains.

At the entrance level you will find the lounge and bar where you can relax in front of the large open log fire. Down one level you will find the hotels restaurant which is also where the breakfast buffet is served. One further level down is the hotels spa centre (free for hotel guests) which comprises an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis Sauna, Steam room and fitness centre. There is also beauty treatments and massage services available

Le Cristal de l'Alpe
4**** star Self Catering Apartments

Created by MGM, this four star residence is CGH's magnificent new flagship residence, which opened for the 2012 season and quickly became our most popular residence. We are delighted to have been given a selection of differing size apartments to offer to our guests for 2013's EGSW in Alpe d'Huez.

The residence is located right in the centre of the village on the main square just above the Avenue de Jeux. It could not be in a better position, it is close to everything you may need during the week. The main shops, bars and restaurants are right in front of the residence. All the EGSW party venues, the resorts pools and the sports centre are within 500 metres. Most of the other EGSW accommodation is within 2 minutes walk and most importantly of all, the ski lift which takes you to the main hub of the ski area, our guides and ski schools meeting points is only 200 metres away.

We have a selection of apartments of varying sizes and layouts, ranging from 2 room apartments for 4, to 5 room apartments for 10.

Residence L'Ours Blanc
4**** Star Studios & Apartments

L'Ours Blanc is our main residence and is available to EGSW guests only*. It is in an absolutley perfect location in the centre of the village set back in a square off the Avenue de Jeux adjacent to the Royal Ours Blanc Hotel.

The mid station of the 'Tele Centre' ski lift is only 300 metres away, the steaming outdoor swiming pool is a mere 50 metres away and the ice rink can be accessed from the shopping mall which is connected to the residence. Within the mall there is a selection of bars, restaurants and shops and just moments from the the main entrance of the residence are the shops, bars and restaurants of Avenue de Jeux.

The Avenue de Jeux is also where you will find the banks, the medical centre and some of the venues for our parties. All the other clubs, and bars that are hosting our events and parties are no more than a couple of minutes walk away

There 8 different types of apartments within the L'Ours Blanc residence with varying layouts that can very comfortably accommodate from 1 to 8 people. All the apartments are of a good size, are very well equipped and have balconies.

Residence France Loc
2** star Studio's and apartments

We believe this residence with its excellent location and equally good rates is going to become one of our most popular 2 star residence's.

It is located in the Quartier de Bergers next door, with only 20 metres to walk, to the main entrance of our principal hotel and its bars which we have privatised and is exclusively for the use of European Gay Ski Week passholders and their guests throughout the week.

The residence is also conveniently situated for the pistes and lifts which are all within 250 metres, as are the local shops, bars, and restaurants.

The apartments are either south east or south west facing.

All the studio's and the apartments have a fully equipped kitchen area with electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric coffemaker and dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are provided and every studio and apartment has its own ski locker which is lockable. Disposable linens included. Kitchen cloth and towels not provided.

Other facilities include a games hall with Pool table, a launderette, a luggage room and a bakery service (by arrangement with the reception).
